The opening scene in Once Upon A Time In The West where Jack Elam and a couple of other guys are waiting for a train to arrive. I think it is a master piece of patience by Sergio Leone -- portraits of faces, landscapes, water dripping on a hat, Elam trying to blow a fly off his face . . . and then eventually the fun begins when Charles Bronson gets off the train.
