Then, along the lines of "build it and they will come", you could call this "declare it and make it so", and hence my title became... so.

The word is spelled "euphemisms".  And if you did look in the thesaurus, you would know it does mean sucking and fucking and licking and sticking and all the other really good "ing" words out there.

I am deeply in love with you. I am also deeply in love with blondestar; and just one or two other beautiful girls here, too numerous to mention, in a very real and meaningful way.
 
This seems perfectly sensible and entirely appropriate.
 
I am, however, distinctly unhappy at the thought that you and these other amazing girls should be in love with loads of attractive men. This unhappiness seems perfectly sensible and entirely appropriate.
