The standard would be if a racist comment was made by someone non-white, would they be as ripped up by the public, as if it were a white. You see that is equitable treatment, something I mentioned a ways back. What you propose is not equitabke treatment, but instead you propose exceptions be made because of someone ethnicity. If it were white's making exceptions for white's it is racist, but is it seen by most to be equally bad if a it is non-white? I believe your answer is what I perceive, which is exceptions are made depending on the ethnicity of the person saying it. quote:

ORIGINAL: OrionTheWolf So is it only news worthy if the person making the racist comments is white? Are people of other ethnicities held to the same standards for "racism"? What are these standards for racism you are talking about? I've never heard of racist standards. I didn't realise racism could be callibrated. I have never heard the black community make such vociferous cries of "foul" because there were only white candidates to the presidency, complaining all over the predominantly white-owned media. And if some expressed concern, it was only justified, as so far, not a single black person has ever been president of the United States. Not a single woman either - but let's not mix things up, aye [;)] ?
