I gave her cash, and we didn't play. OK, now everyone can unload on this fool.

Honestly, I doubt that. There was an interesting thread a couple of months ago about the different ways that people tend to respond to male and female posters. There was a huge consensus that people are more likely to respond to a female poster with sympathy and to a male poster with derision.

Edited to add: Here it is--

No, I think they'd still be getting the "are you a dumbass?" comments.

No unloading. You just (hopefully) learned a valuable lesson. And got off relatively cheap!

There was no "unloading" in my post to you. I do feel for you and I wanted you to realize that there are honorable FemDommes out there. But it takes two and you need to realize the warning signs so that you don't get taken advantage of again. I do feel for your plight, after all your intentions were good. I just want you to have the knowledge to avoid being taken advantage of again.

You posted asking if Dommes were like that - my reply (like others) was sent in good faith so that your next experience wouldn't end like the last two.

Wishing you well,

As I said originally, this was the second time it happened to me in less than two months. In early August I flew to Gerrgia to meet a domme who I had talked to many times. We decided to stat aweek togerther with no play. I bought her a leather straightjacket as a gift. (My choice) The tires on the airplane weren't coll yet when we were on the phone, and she told me to come back for two weeks, and bring some clothes to leave there so it would be easier for me when I moved. The next week she had a serious rent issue. Three days later, she had an issue with a promised gift for het grandaughter, immediately following that it was a cat the she drove to Alabama to rescue, and somewhere between Alabama and Georgia, the dog contracted ringworm, and kennel cough. She told me the dog was going to die that day without a vet. $650 + $ 250 + $200. When the next emergency happened, I told her she had a slightly better chance of seeing God than getting anymore money from me. Relationship ended. She immediately went to the site we met on, and she got three other local dommes to believe a story, and the four of them tore me apart. The reason I write this today is because it seems funny. I blew one off, blocked all mail from her when she told me she found a sex slave, and low and behold the other is on this site badmouthing me to no end, saying I'm nasty, demanding, and outed in my own area BDSM community. If anyone here knows where I live, and one very nice domme from Providence does, you'll know we don't have a BDSM community. No I won't mention the domme here, but if you contact me privately, I will give you a heads up, especially if you're from down south.

You know I could always use more money; as we're not far from each other, could you call me next time you need to give money away, because I will take it, than you can come and bitch about me on the boards, as long as you spend at least 5G's because I have a rep, and if I'm going to sell it, it should be for no less than that. Kay, I truly thank you. I listen to what you say because you are intelligent, articulate, sincere, and you make sense. Did I mention I adore red hair? Wanna be my long distance mentor? I'll run all my contacts through you. Thanks again

Everyone, you're not going to believe this. I went to my homepage just now, and I had messages from two dommes. One is 22 and the other is 29. I would like all the guys here to send me every Viagra they have, and I'll need six to carry the casket. Who was it that said I have a fucking neon sign on my forehead?

I personally think overly expensive gifts start relationships off on the wrong foot. I get this sort of offer fairly regularly, out of the blue, even though I'm *not* looking. Men ask to meet me with the offer of allowing them to take me shopping. The men think they are showing their generosity, tell me buying me things is *their* pleasure, and assure me there are no strings attached.

But that has instantly raised their "investment", and possible loss, (make that probable loss) in pursuit of the relationship, compared to my usual "cup of coffee" first meeting. I suppose I could save the messages and take the *gifts*, but I'm not interested in acquiring stuff from men that don't interest me. But the "no, thank you" doesn't make them happy, either, though I'm assuming they are still less unhappy than they would be if I accepted the "stuff" and then said, "no, thank you" to the man.

One might be able to purchase a good session, but I don't think one can purchase a good relationship.

I for one am NOT that way.. In no way do I expect a sub to buy me things, unless they are gifts. I don't go shopping with my subs so they can get me things.
I do not ask my subs for money for anything.. but that is just the way I am.

I have alarm bells ringing. It is not because you have been poorly dealt to by unscruplous women, but more because you are obviously quite rude

I've been watching the thread develope rapidly. I wondered then as I do now why post the original problem other that a means of seeking support and information with which to learn by. Now it isn't that the OP is young and inexperienced (in years anyway he is 57 so in theory a mature adult with the attendent life experience. I will grant that he may ve young in experience in the lifestyle. I wondered about the rudeness and yet it looked more to me like a petulant child seeking more attention and lapping up all the attendion given but dispaying petulance towards the posts made by those whome his OP cast a slur upon (Dommes).

'Tis a hard call without knowing the OP or all the circumstances and the "Other Woman".. I'll not pass judgement on all of this but reserve the right to make judgement calls.
