Status: offline 		I am so tired of reading through hundreds of profiles from "Dommes" that adhere to Financial Domination.  I chose to treat inter-human relationships as something that cannot be bought for money. I believe that this is emotionally sounder, at least on a long term. To me any inter-human relationship, and specially submission, is something very sacred, it is something beautiful and almost magic, and as such something that cannot be bought and sold.
 
Let me stress that I do not heap on those who feel differently. I have no moral issue when others feel differently and buy someone’s attention and affection.  But I do feel disillusioned when scanning through profiles only to see that 99 % are written by swindlers or, in best case, prostitutes (a word that in my book encompasses anyone who treats inter-human relationships, including domination and submission, as something that can be sold for money). And though I do not have moral issues, I do find it pathetic when people sell and/or buy domination and submisson.

Status: offline 		Obviously I do foresee that the overwhelming amount of "Dominas" that practice Financial Domination, will ensure that my posting want have all that many sympathetic responses. People have their financial interests to maintain.

Status: offline 		Put it this way buddy.. The world revolves around currencies and everyone has a prize at the end of the day no matter which side of the wood they belong. Subs and generally men are the usual underdogs when it comes to this but i have notice that it can also have a "no limit" and no gender effect which means even D's have been caught. If you get caught consider it as a professional service and don't bother dwelling on it.

Status: offline 		Not all dominas engage in financial domination.  Your complaining about it isn't going to change the ones who do.  My best advice is to keep slogging through the profiles until you find someone who looks like a good match.  No one said finding a partner was going to be easy.

I assume that you are using the word "free" as opposed to paying money, as this is what the thread is about. And if so, I most strongly disagree. I have and have had a very large number of fruitful and mutually enjoyable relationships without paying or charging a single penny for it. I understand that it is different for you, since you state that "nothing in life is free", and because of that I truly feel very sorry for you and hope that someday you will experience an inter-human relationship that is free in the sense that no money are paid or charged, so that you will understand the falseness in the statement that "nothing in lifes is free".

Yes, like a gift. And yes, it is much better. And it is not something that is given only at Christmas time. It is given every single day of the year.  :)

Instead of trying to get dommes who seek "moneyslaves" to react, why not instead work to get the subs who support them to stop doing it?  There would be no market for financial domination if men were not lining up thinking with their dicks/wallets instead of brain.  I know I am not the only femdom who clearly states in her profile that money/gifts will not get my attention, yet at least twice a week a submissive man offers me cash or presents to try to get me to dominate him when I tell him that I am not interested.

Status: offline 		Don't look a Pros as selling human interaction, look at them as selling fantasy fulfillment. Many people simply cannot, for whatever reason, come to community events or perhaps they don't want more than the fantasy. Pros meet their needs. Frankly, I'm happy that they are here since it weeds out most of those who don't want some form of mental/emotional connection from the local scene.

As far as Financial Domination, if you don't like it, rather than complaining about it on the boards, simply use it as a weeding tool in your search. Knowing what you don't want is as valuable as knowing what you do.

You may think I'm kidding, but I'm actually not too much.  I remember that very discussion.  As a therapist, I sold my time, my undivided attention and unconditional regard for someone, I kept my private life out of it, I listened to another person and did (mostly) what they wanted, gave them my energy exclusively for a set amount of time and fee.  I brought the idea to a bunch of other therapists and some were appalled, but most agreed.... So, I guess I'm in the boat with the ProDommes....

Status: offline 		I, for one, am grateful there are pro dominas.. yep.. I am.  They take care of all those philanderers, the desperate, the no-strings players that the rest of us wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. 
 
All I can say to you that get upset about them.. avoid them.  They won't bother you if you don't want to pay.  No one FORCES anyone to pay.
