I didnt read through the entire thread but the topic kind of confuses me.  I myself have no desire to have any kind of sexual contact with another man... in fact the whole idea of it compleatly repulses me.  I dont see why I am the odd one out for simply being compleatly 100% strait. Its not that I disrespect anyones choices but in the same way I dont want my choice to be disrespected as well. As far as the woman I know.... if I am active with them I personaly prefer that they be 100% strait as well... I'm just one of those guys that likes the male / female 1 on 1 kind of thing. The way I view it if your doing something with the same sex then you are either bi or gay but you are not strait... not even if someone tells you to do something and you do it. Your still responsible for your actions and I feel that it should be disclosed before having sex with someone else just because not everyone likes to have sex with people that find it posible to have sex with anything that walks without any kind of personal limitations... the reasons why may have nothing to do with sex at all.  As to wether or not being bi or gay is right or wrong, the whole argument is ignorant. Why should anyone else care who or what you fuck when it dosnt effect them? You could be fucking your cat for all I care.... but then I do feel if I am going to fuck you I should know what you have been doing in the past because quit frankly even with safe sex practices its still my choice as to the level of risk that I choose to take. When someone does not disclose what they are up to then I feel they are disrespecting the other person by taking away there right to asses the risk because there is a chance that they might not get laid if the other person knows.... well then... if you have to lie about your sexuality to get laid... then maybe you shouldnt be screwing around with that person.

They can call themselves whatever they want, but if they call themselves "straight" in a personal ad, and are really looking for a cock to suck, most other people in the world aren't going to understand.

Frankly, the gay men you're talking about (and I'm not too surprised that it's in Texas) sound to me as though they haven't quite accepted themselves.  Yes, there's a lot of social stigma out there; yes, there are people who want to fry all homosexuals; but simply avoiding the word "gay" isn't going to change any of that.  I think the only thing that MIGHT change things is to accept who you are and show the world that you're not a heinous sinner or psychopath.  You're a human being like anyone else.  Then people who have never knowingly met a homosexual might find their prejudices challenged.

The thing that is, if a person were to meet another person in the street, not knowing each other's personal business. These two people might get on, as people who are friendly often do. A person is a person, that's it, but what happens when things should slip, that a person's sexuality becomes known, how often the friends that were, quickly evolves into friendly, but kept at arms length.

On a personal note, I do not tell everyone about being bisexual.  Amongst my college friends and kinkster friends, everyone is very accepting.  But the larger world still can be very intolerant.  Or they want to treat you like
a freak show escapee!

By all accounts, the issue if a straight man who sucks cock doesn't define whether he's gay or a closet bisexual. That's like saying a straight man who enjoys anal sex with his female partner is a closet gay which isn't so. Anal sex, or sucking cock is a sexual act plain and simple in my view.
In this world we have strictly straight men and strictly gay men and countless variations in between. I don't believe that a man who self identifies as straight and experiments with sucking a cock a closet fag nor a gay man who tried eating pussy a couple times is a closet heterosexual. For some, they find sucking cock a pleasant experience though they primarily identify as a straight male.
Granted there are many straight men who absolutely no desire to have any type of sexual contact with another man and that is their choice. On the other hand, I absolutely have no desire to have any type of sexual contact with a female and that is my choice as a gay male. Yes labels are and can be limiting yet what I found is the labels we take upon ourselves are valid since they further define who we are as a person.
