An endorsement from Ted Kennedy, that's *the kiss of death!*
As I've said before, the Democrats pick the candidate who's furthest to the left and then act surprised when they lose.
Plus, Senators have an abysmal record when it comes to winning the W.H.
This is the only way a Senator can win, if everyone running is also a Senator.
Governors have the best record when it comes to winning the W.H.
Also, Obama said he'd, "talk to our enemies."
I wonder what al qeada or Mexican drug cartels would have to say to him?

No it isnt, and if people had said they wouldnt vote for Hillary, purely because she is white, i would have called that racist as well. Now if people said i wont vote for Obama because he has played the race card, and i am not saying he has or hasnt, i would see that as a reasonable stance. The problem with politicians ( worldwide ) is they often see the masses as stupid, when infact even uneducated folk can be as sharp as a box of tacks.

Status: offline 		Well I am in west virginia right now.. And the reason people did not vote for him.. Was because of his wife and the so called preacher he had.. I can honestly say I would not of voted for him not because of his color but those to factors.. I just think he would not be a good president and honestly I dont think hilary will either.. I will vote for mcain just for the simple fact I dont think there is good democrats this year...

Imagine that.

When I saw a former aid to Byrd on tv saying she was running against Capito for the "change" factor, I nearly choked to death!

Let's start the "change" movement by setting time limits for Senators!  Then lets see how much the Dems are screaming "CHANGE!"

I think the politicians like to imagine us as stupid, and want to keep us ignorant, so we won't question what they are doing.

All those who voted against drilling in ANWR should not be re-elected.  And all those who say they are protecting the environment, we should start with trade deals with China.  Then we can talk about who really cares about the environment.

Do you think the Sauds, the Iranians, or Chavez is concerned about wildlife before they put a drill in the ground??

Why is it only the US who has to be environmentally correct?

Status: offline 		I have a problem with people who say it's okay for blacks to vote for a black person simply because they are black, but it's not okay for a white person to vote against a person simply because they are black.

You can't have it both ways.  I believe there is such thing as reverse discrimination, and political correctness is feeding it.

Fourty some odd years in the senate is WAY too long!

Status: offline 		I agree, so why set higher standards for whites?  Are you one of those people who expect blacks to show LESS integrity than whites?

When 20% of whites in WV say race was a factor it's a shame.  When Obama gets 95% of the black vote in NC, it's expected.

That is reverse discrimination.  And unacceptable.  Do you agree?

Regardless of the sarcastic response, it's a legitimate question.  He has received 90+% of black votes throughout the country.
