Rule, thanks for putting the "WARNING" label on yourself. You need one.

Pff. If a supergenius was normal, he would not be a supergenius. Thank you for the compliment.

While depression can often be treated with medications alone,  with more serious mental illnesses ,such as delusions of grandeur , medications are usually prescribed to only stabilize and tranquilize the patient.Psychotherapies for such illnesses are usually much less effective than for depression. Delusions and the paranoia that often accompany them, are indications of psychotic states, by definition, and should be treated by the appropriate professionals.

Maybe only true slaves who are clinically depressed recognise your special qualities?

I can understand that you would appeal to a very small and "select" segment of the population, dude.

Natural slaves and dominants are unlikely to get depressed according to my hypothesis about the composition of the mind - but if they do, something is seriously amiss with them.

So Rule....i take it the only sub who would be with you is one who is mentally ill?

That's the understatement of the century.  I think he states it best in his own profile:

" I have over sixteen hundred posts on the CM message boards.

I have no experience at all with this lifestyle"

A thousand posts later and his situation is the same.  I expect it would be the same after a million posts.

hey supergenius...depression can often be a physical issue which presents itself as a mental illness. As i said before and will say one more time...the human brain is an organ. You horse hockey hypothesis does not carry any weight. It is as stupid as saying a natural slave and or Dom is unlikely to develop a cardiac issue, kidney failure, liver disease...etc.

I also specifically state in my profile that I am not looking, and cite among other reasons that I have a severe and highly contagious issue with the herpes simplex virus. Last year for their own safety I had to scare away a pair of Dutch women who wanted me to dominate them.

I guess that explains the e-mails from you asking if I have herpes. Trolling???

depression can often be a physical issue which presents itself as a mental illness.

I guess that you are a fan of the medical series House. You are imitating dr. Cuddy: "It may be idiopathic!" (That is self-important medical jargon for "I got no idea what causes this".)

I reiterate: for some people being depressed is their natural condition. Yes, it sucks (been there, done that, and am still apathic) but for them it is no illness.
