First by listening to His voice, not just hearing, really listening.  Feeling everything He does as He does it.  Never letting my mind wander from His actions.   All of my senses reacting.   In a nutshell, my head has to be wrapped around Him.  

Someone else mentioned that it is addicting.   I agree.  It is the most addicting thing I've ever experienced.

Status: offline 		i've been in full supspace once.....i was tied to a chair and a Dom i was training under.....was useing a whip on my breats and then my back....i went so far into subspace when i came out i couldn't talk or move for like 45 mins....

Daddy has sent me into subspace once with O/our talks over the phone....where nothing else matters but to please Him

Status: offline 		Your welcome CP ..I have seen  many who build the sub space  ideal up in their heads and so want to get there  yet with out the letting go and just simply allowing yourself to have the experiance it is very tough to achieve .Trust  is also an issue,  if your having doubt or not fully trusting your Top that shall also hinder flight .

Status: offline 		I enter a level of sub space everytime we play. Yet, there is a place that I have only gone on rare and beautiful occasions! I do seek and hope to enter that level of head space again. It is like the elusive high you keep trying to achive, knowing you will not find it.

As it was with the Greek Gods, the voice was a fearsome force to consider. I agree that there is the aspect of addiction if one is able to reach it at will.

Status: offline 		For me SubSpace is something I go into more from verbal humilation and mental stimulation than from physical (that said some impact play scenes get me there too!) as someone who meditates and experimented with altered states via drug use when at university it was a space I felt very comfortable in and whilst I do crave it I don't find it addictive, I find spending time with my Dom addictive - whether or not a trip to SubSpace happens <big cheesy grin>

For those who have not done so; have you ever come close?

very cautious of subspace for many reasons:
*glorification
*the NEED for such a space
* the coutless defintions
 
Sir tells me I go often...in fact, one malesub was trying to describe to a Domme what was happening to me, while she watched on cam, I was powerless to answer, I was told later she was "concerned"..... I was just aware of ONLY ONE HUMAN BEING, my Owner and Sir, who announced "My property is in subspace."  That I heard. 
 
It is way over-rated, over sought and much too much talk about it IMHO.

Well yours I believe is a first. That being that you feel it is over rater. If is t is ultimately pleasurable how does it get over rated?

Status: offline 		My ex-Dom took me to subspace when he forced me to fantasize about my desire fantasy. Once i acheived an O, He then forced me to fulfill his desired fantasies. It was a combination of pain, touch and words of encouragement that told me I was doing the right things that took me beyond the O into subspace.

Status: offline 		I have been experiencing 'subspace' with my Husband from day one. However, it is only when I began researching the feeling I could not describe that I found the term 'subspace' and felt it described it perfectly.
 
I feel that my conscious mind, though still alert, takes a back seat to my more primal emotions and needs. I feel that my usual 'day to day' space is replaced with an alternate space where I am able to rely on my senses and instinct far more than usual. I love this space and find that I constantly crave it.

Status: offline 		a thick strap, handcuffed to the collar behind my neck, a blindfold, and a woman that understands both the curve of pain (the way it works) and the message...the wordless love letter i am writing as i kneel...

as i am not in love with the pain but rather with the song my submission sings to her ...i'll work through the pain and war with myself to not whimper and interrupt or squirm and foul a note...and reach that space and hear again the song of the strap

in sub space, if the conditions are perfect and she is not just hitting...when she is speaking to me in only the language of leather...well -  think i can take almost anything...the love song the strap plays for us is the most beautiful ever played...my sweating back a living instrument as is the hissing and invisible belt that she, the conductor, plays slowly - an arrhythmic original answering only to the curve of my pain...i hear it in the darkness behind the blindfold so wickedly invisible - yet feel it in a deep spot somewhere near my center, some still water reserve near the core

that song can float two above the scrum and suspend them both - until time and tide pull the wanderers gently back down to earth...barefooted now and unashamed
