Status: offline 		Oh yes, "subspace" is what keeps a sub coming back.  Subspace is the level of acceptance and release you have to reach to for the experience to be rewarding.  When it hurts you can fight or you can surrender.  When you are humiliated, you can become enraged or you can be humbled.

I agree a lot of subspace has to do with surrendering and being humble. I have never found it difficult reaching subspace with my husband; in fact I have more of a problem leaving the feeling when play is over.

Status: offline 		Yes i've been there.....can't really say what in particular got me there except maybe a gradual build-up of pain..from warm up to having limits pushed to the exteme.  Sometimes its a euphoric feeling...where you turn pain into a warm sensation and just let it flow thru your body....a few times it's been like an out of body experience...detached totally from all sensation...just gone. 

I don't always experience it....and never without some pain involved... definitely sensation driven for me.

I'm sore and yummy now.

During my thinking is very very clear, I can be hyper aware, unable to clearly communicate without effort and very, very detached from my body (bring on the heavy pain!).
