Yes, its a fact the democrats conveniently gloss over. The planning and training for the 9-11 attacks took place under CLINTON's watch.

      Yep.  It did.

Of course, there are a few things that get glossed over the other way, DA.  What might the Republicans have been up to during the late 90's, in the thrall of their new majority?  A savage partisan attack against a sitting president.  How many briefing papers stayed on the desk a bit longer while he read something from the lawyers?   What notes might he have made in the margins if he hadn't been dodging the flung poo of the dick-swingers in the House?

You seem to enjoy analogies to active military service.  If the O3 pilot of a kajillion dollar airplane was the subject of constant criminal investigations, how long would he be trusted to keep landing on the giggitygillion dollar boat?  Somebody is going to rightly decide that he just doesn't have the sort of focus he needs.  He might fuck up badly.  Presidents aren't replaced with a trip to the paint shop, though.

Call it blame, history, or water under the bridge, there is plenty to go around.  Saying 9/11 was Bill Clinton's fault is bullshit.

Its not Clinton's fault. It is Janet Reno's fault - a Clinton appointee. The same piece of work who brought us Ruby Ridge, the Barbecue at Waco (both of which led to the OKC bombing) and the Elian Gonzales debauchle down in Florida.

As for the 0-3 pilot under constant criminal investigation, if he isnt a criminal he wont be investigated constantly. Ill say it right here and right now, for the record... I LOVE getting my cock sucked in the office! Nothing breaks the monotony and stress of the work day like a good blowjob... Thank the lord for eager little interns... (and flight nurses, and flight attendants because I also like getting my cock sucked in flight)

Clinton could have avoided a whole lot of drama, and been an effective president if he simply pulled the fangs out of his attackers by saying "yeah I got my dick sucked. Hello, if you were married to Hillary wouldnt you hit any port in a storm???" If he really wanted to be tough he would have sent someone out to "acquire" the records of various whorehouses / escort services in DC and then held a little cocktail party at the White House.. "Senator So and So Id like you to meet Bambi.. Oh my bad you already know Bambi QUITE WELL dont you???"

My only beef with Clinton over blowjobgate is that he didnt just stand up and say "Yeah, I got head. You want me to send the bitch over to your office next?" I've been caught with my cock where it didnt belong, but I manned up and said so rather than trying to weasel.  Clinton's behavior through that reminded my of when my five year old step son attempted to tell me that the dog opened the refrigerator and spilled a half gallon of milk and he was just trying to clean it up so Husk wouldnt get in trouble... LOL

C'mon, DA.  The dicksucking was only the final chapter, the best they could show for years of investigation, and millions of dollars.  The attacks had been running for years, and the "us vs. them" siege mentality was in place.  It was about nothing but spite, and it accomplished nothing but to damage the country, and make a smart guy less effective.

If anybody devoted that kind of microscope up the ass to my past, they would have me under the jail before running through the first million.

But we can completely agree that blowjobs are very nice.

D.A., I just didn't have any respect for Clinton after that.
Especially when he was on that show with Robert McNeil and before he was even asked the question he started stammering,"I din't do it! I didn't do it!" like a little kid.
He did so much more damage by lieing about it.
Then,...we see the FUCKIN' SKANK he was lieing about and it all fell apart!
He did *NOT* have good taste in women!

Compare Clinton saying "I never had sex with that woman", the lie, and it's effect on the nation and W's and Cheney's statements that they have no regrets or can think of nothing they've done wrongly and the effects of their decisions and deceptions on the nation and the world. No contest, wouldn't you say ?

And the nerve of that uppity Obama, saying that he won't be lectured ! Where's a rope when ya need one ?

Make sure that if you hang him, you do it well.  He'll get more votes for being well hung.

What has always bugged me is that Starr and his fellow travelers in Congress got away with making the ludicrous claim that Bill and/or Hilary had been the super competent masterminds behind a land scheme in which they at best broke even. Arkansas may not be the center of high finance but who really thinks a governor who is out to enrich himself will wind up with a land scheme in which he broke even as the ultimate result? What more compelling proof of their innocence could there be beyond that balance statement? But Starr kept on digging and digging and he still found nada.
