Bingo. I think this best covers my thoughts on the matter.
Having had both sides of that coin, I can say that the ones that "struggle"/"fight" or whatever other choice of wording you use, vary in a few ways, there are the ones that struggle internally, then there are the ones who are actively trying to fight with a Dom... As I see it, you work together, and each plays their part, or you fight. I don't have time for fighting with someone anymore, nor the patience to sit through it each time the urge to fight comes back up. It comes back to taking pleasure from what you are, to fight that sounds counter-productive, to say the least.
