Going back to the woman who was given six years for fucking on the beach, apparently the police warned them to stop an hour earlier but when they patrolled back around the couple were still trying to hide that sausage.  It's not an example of muslim intolerance, far from it.

No - I used it as an example of how people who are visiting muslim countries shouldn't expect to abide by the same laws they are used to at home.  I've no idea why anyone would want to go to Dubai - they want their money but have incredibly strict laws, making it a risky vacation land, at best.

Here are some reasons I want to travel to Dubai:
Despite restrictive laws, it's relatively safe.
I find the changes being made in light of dwindling oil resources to be fascinating.
I have relatively little exposure to any middle-Eastern culture, and find the prospect of learning more exciting.
Good friends and aquaintances who have been there report very positive experiences.

This is obviously the end result of multiculturalism run amok...and must be stopped at all costs...the young Lady wants to *gasp* travel and learn about different cultures...oh the humanities....

It seems like about once a week, I'll get a fwd'd email about some project going in Dubai.  The artificial islands, the skyscrapers, that funky looking hotel.  I'll scroll through, with no real desire to go there (even if I could afford such a trip), and I always have the strangest feeling that none of it will last very long.  Maybe it's that old saying about building on the sand...

LOL, sure you can!
I've "interacted" personally with Hatians while I was in the USCG.
I "learned" something from them too.

Popeye, I learned a lot from them too.... Its amazing how much wake turbulence a high speed jet produces LOL Did you know its enough to flip over a boat????  LOL

D.A. I'm sure it will.
We gave them a free ride right back to Port O Prince.
("Haitian Migrant Interdiction Operations")
Funny they call them "migrants".
Now there's one "culture" we simply don't need in the U.S.
They're starting to show up on police shows like "The First 48 Hours" "Cops" "America's Most Wanted" and others.
WTF was Clinton thinking, that they'd go to college and become M.D.'s?
I'm sure a few did but that leaves 200-300,000 on public assistance and pushing drugs out of the "pork and beans" section of Miami and other areas.
Look at all the rapes and murders and other crimes that they and those boat people from Cuba committed!
Our government needs to learn how to say "NO!"
I just love those "multi-cultural" festivals where they dress up like giant chickens, wooooweeeee, now there's a group we can "learn" something from!
I think my ancesters probably stopped doing that 10,000 years ago, or painting themselves blue and going into battle naked.
Funny though, if you don't *"Embrace*" other "cultures the lefties get their panties in a bunch! lol
"But, but, we can *Learn* from fourth world countries!"
I like American "culture" just fine!
My ancesters didn't immigrate to the U.S. (legally) because they liked "Irish culture" they wanted to immigrate here to become Americans at a time when we *needed* more Americans.
Pizza, steak, cowboy hats and boots and jeans, all kinds of cars, pick up trucks, guns, Harley Davidsons, roller coasters, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, jazz, the blues, rock and roll, and on and on, we have plenty of our own "culture" here and I like *American Culture* so the pathetic pissant lefties who tell me that I must *embrace* "other cultures" can ***kiss my Irish Arse***!

My Sister has lived in Dubai for nigh on 13 years.......they most certainly want your money.....which tourist attraction doesn't?....they most certainly have alien laws...but then I suppose that's only to be expected.....

Risky? You couldn't be further from the truth...it's as safe as houses.....far safer than England's cities.

The food, shopping, standard of living etc is exceptional.....there are some very interesting Islamic museums....the people are extremely hospitable.

To be honest, I wouldn't choose it as a holiday destination because I tend to go to places with a long history.....but it's a fantastic place for those that choose their holiday destinations in order to soak up the modern lifestyle.

Yep.  Right here in the good old US of A.

The rule or the exception, Rich?
