I've faked to the point where I got bored with the faking, zoned out, and then realized I hadnt made noise for a little while and ramped it back up. Oh, and there was the one guy that bored me soo much I was trying to remember all the elements on the periodic table...And sadly, it seems with the new guy faking is the only thing that will get'r'done. I cant stand a guy who doesnt understand the art of the build up. You cant just make a car go, ya gotta warm it up, ya know?

I don't see the incentive to faking it. I'm never going to get closer to an orgasm if I do -- I'm probably going to get further from it. Why would I want to do that?

However, I do remember one time where I was with a casual play partner and things had emotionally tailed off between us and therefore I wasn't very aroused. He was fucking away, not doing a thing for me, and I had an almost irresistable urge to say, "could you just finish it off and leave now?" I contemplated faking it, but decided that it would be offensive to reward bad behavior. if pleasure is the goal and not the orgasm then there is no need to fake it... so my question is why is there all this focus on having one...it sets things up to fail if that is the goal and one does not cum....

I've never faked it and actually I don't even understand how such a thing is even possible. There must be some really naive guys out there. There are lots of things that happen during an orgasm...and yeah I have heard women say that all of those things can be faked....but I don't have a clue how they do it. I don't understand why anyone would WANT to fake an orgasm either. I would prefer they know I didn't....and keep trying in that case

. I also see faking an orgasm as being dishonest. If I had a partner who faked an orgasm I would feel hurt by that and lied to.

Very true. But women play a huge role in this too. Instead of faking orgasms I would think that educating them about the "hows" would be a much better solution. You're right, many men have no idea how to make a woman cum....and no one has ever showed them. Women have a responsibility in their sexual fulfillment too and men have no idea how things feel unless we tell them. As long as you are moaning in ecstasy...most men are going to think that all is well and if all is well, why bother to try to learn or change? Women are often too embarassed to REALLY tell their partners what pleases them or how.

Nope. And I can honestly say at this point in my life, I never would. I believe in honesty and saying, this isn't working and I'm not going to get there at this time. And I wouldn't be with someone who wouldn't accept that answer, and kept trying or prooving I can, when I've called done.

I think don't think its embarrassment. I just don't think they are paying attention. If someone does not know how to sing the ABC song after hearing it a few times and still recites it as "elemenopee", is it really our responsibility to teach him? Sometimes you just want to move on in what ever way is the most expedient.
Guys can fake it too, for the same reasons.
