ORIGINAL: BossyShoeBitch Yep.. He is pretty frigging smart.. Pisses me off sometimes because we are fairly competitive with each other..LOL In fact, the other night when DC was on Jeopardy, he knew many of the more obscure answers that I didn't know.. It was his wording that I had the problem with. We went around and around on IM until I came to the realization that all he was saying was: attractive= aesthetically pleasing unattractive= UNaesthetically pleasing interesting tie in with the lumus/michael thread. i read that, and immediately thought of how a certain someone ticks me off more often than not. thinking back to the interactions, it's been because of how he's treated you (as far as i could see from his actions on the boards) and a comment he privately mailed to me. not only that, but he reminds me of a brother of mine who has the same attitude to life, and i REALLLLY can't stand my brother (for so many reasons). so looking at it from a slightly more distant perspective, i can see that his initial words and actions when i first "met" him on other threads, immediately put me into a negative mindset. and that's affected all other threads i've read him on. i generally try not to get involved in any commentary with him, but sometimes my halo crashes and burns and i get stuck in. nicely (maybe), of course. ok. maybe not so nice. i can't erase in my mind first impressions, but i can certainly try to read any further postings with a more open mind. i respect your intelligence, bsb, so i'm willing to be open to what you've said about the subject. intelligence and compassion, even to a terminally straight woman such as myself, makes you a very sexy woman, bsb!
