I am using some of Susans granny squares to make a scarf. Because there is no way I will be able to make more, even though yes, the yarn is in her stash. I tried to explain to her daughter about being a Fiber Whore. :)

I finished the Xmas/b'day presents. I even got some of them wrapped already. I'm going to finish my sweater, make slippers for myself & then start on the shrug for Mom's b'day.

i finished 6 watch caps and 2 scarves for the Seaman's Church Institute of NY/NJ. 
 
Yesterday Master drove me to the Port of Newark to give them to the knitting coordinator.  They now have over 17,000 hand knit items to give to the crews of the ships that transport all the imports and exports for NY and NJ and beyond.  They still need more.

I love that my girl crochets & wants to learn to knit. We went shopping today & bought 3 skeins of yarn at walmart. We then went a thrift store & found huge bag(20 gallon?) of yarn for $7.

Okay, I am staggered at my lack of skillz. I am doing a lacy cami, right? Well I WILL if I can get past row 10 without ripping back!! I guess bad lighting and the distraction of TV do not make for a good combination. And when you are doing a pattern of those shapes surrounded by eyelets, mistakes SHOW.

Le sigh. Try try again.

can't help LadyH in that respect...as I am way at the beginning line...but hey, with uni being over I am at least able now to get started with it in the near future [:)]
