I've been in the law enforcement field for over 20 years, on both sides of the mike.....now I just spend all my time telling cops where to go.....loving every minute of it!!!!!   Very much a Type A personality.......if I tell someone to do something, I mean NOW!  No whining, no questions, just do it.  Also did the Army thing...was an MP there....kicking ass, taking names......and loved every minute of it!

FR~

When I was in college I worked as a telemarketer and in a recording studio.  In grad school I worked as a TA.  Since college I've bounced between management at non-profits and being a policy analyst.

currently, this slave has ONE job, and it isn't "work", it is a labor of love and devotion---pleasing Master.

Yep.  I have that job too plus one as a librarian.  I've worked in outpatient community mental health services and as a rehabilitation counselor at a maximum security men's prison.  I then managed a domestic violence shelter for several years and then became a library system director.  I left that job to move to AR and now am have a semi-high-level position within a large library system here.  Currently having no trouble with that job and pleasing Master well too.  Plus, He enjoys the money He gets from my job[;)].............luci

Ever wonder why I sometimes sound so strident about relationships?

Trained Relationship Counselor, decided it sucked the life out of me.

I've been a corporate travel manager for the last 18 years.

Just started a small side business.

Right now, my job is student. Prior to the past spring semester my job was in journalism.

Wow congrats!!

Sad to say but there isn't alot of loyalty between companies and staff anymore in most places.

I moved alot (for schooling and then, my now ex hubby) so jobs changed with locations and education *S*

Missokyst -> RE: What kind of jobs do subs have? (8/8/2008 9:28:06 AM)

Wow.. I have had so many jobs its hard to recall them all.
Inventory control specialist, cashier, artist, student, singer, car wash girl, sales, mover, customer relations clerk, retail clerk, dancer, ... way too many to list.
My favorite jobs were always the creative ones.
I think the lack of direction in an environment where I have no respect for the authority might be related to my desire to submit.
I never thought of that till now.
