I think this is one of those situations in which you have no idea what your reaction would be until it happens. If my Owner did this to me, I'd probably be terrified and sick at first, and ravenous with lust shortly thereafter. If someone I had literally just met did this to me, I'm guessing I'd come out swinging once the ropes here untied. However, I believe we've all been in situations where we've had sort of an instant 'click' with someone and would let them do to us things that we would never consider letting another do. I've read this over a couple of times now and several thoughts come to mind. I guess that my reaction would depend a lot upon what my goal with the Dominant was. Most likely the part that I am getting hung up on is the newness and the "test of submission" factor. Granted, I'm not one who plays casually with people that I don't know very, very well...but if it was a play situation I don't view that as "submission" at all. When I have played casually I agreed to take the bottom position in a scene...and to me that doesn't compare to submission. So if this were a scene I was in, it would be with someone I already knew very well and in that light it might be a really cool mind fuck. Now on the other hand, if this were a dominant who I was just getting to know and had hopes of a future relationship...this would destroy all of those hopes in one hot second. The first part is again...the "test" of submission. In the "getting to know you" stage of a relationship...again, for me, submission is something that evolves naturally and grows and deepens in tune with the level of the relationship. When a dominant expects "all or nothing" right from the get go...well, that test of my submission is one that I would flat out fail in their eyes. Does that make me not "the real deal" or indicate that I can't "swim with the sharks"....well if that is what it indicates to that dominant then I'd have to say he's a fool. It's difficult for me to try to imagine my reaction in the context in which you laid the scene out because I wouldn't ever be involved in such a scene with someone that I didn't know well. If that makes me not a "heavy player" and places me in the "fantasy role player" category in someone's eyes...oh well. It would trouble me if someone new read it and thought that this was some kind of a litmus test for being "real".
