Status: offline 		While I liked the Obama digs, well deserved IMO, over all, it was long on rhetoric, short on actual policy. Other than energy dependance, she really didn't talk about what they plan to do.

I think I saw an African-American face in the crowd, but it went by so fast I couldn't be sure.

she did speak of balancing the budget/stopping wasteful spending/improving the economy, finding new energy sources and winning the war in iraq.  she also met the traditional challenge before her and that was to draw the differences between the two Presidential candidates!  Sarah Palin did her job in that speech!  She is running for VP not President.

Status: offline 		A convention is there for 2 reasons. Nominate your canidate, and fire up your base to get out the vote. You don't debate 'policy' at a convention...who would you debate with anyway. it's all Republicans there ..?

I just want someone to tell us how they plan to do it.  Before Nov.  I think we all can see the pitfalls of each party and the digs.. they can be fun!... but how are they going to run things?  By complaining about how some do it and how it needs to be addressed?  Well... lets address it.. real simple.  I almost long for Ross and his boards and figures lol

Status: offline 		Yeah Chia the Hockey mom line was great,and in truth she did a great job delivering a great speech.Unfortunately it was the typical republican rhetoric ,the fact it was delivered by a pit bull with lipstick does not change the same old message!!!

I think the plan is for things to stay basically the same, Lockit.
Maybe we will all hear about the great plans and the great changes

i know our country is not perfect!  but i surely do not want to take the ObamaNation road!  I do not want to live in a socialist country, if i did i would move to Ghana!
