Karen Hughes said herself that she loved the line she was fed and rehearsed to say about the pit bull and hockey mom difference being lipstick, and was very pleased that that line she was fed registered well with men as well as women.  In their political machine, calculating to appeal to as wide as many people as possible is needed in Presidential politics. 

I see why she avoided expressing any of her own opinions, because her appeal to most Americans would be killed on the spot....  *God forbid, she ever say what she really thinks about anything!!  (like women who are raped must have a rapists' baby because she says so, that the U.S. will be used to generate favors for Alaska if she's elected [alaska being only 0.01% of the entire U.S. population], etc etc)

Just be a typical republican woman (stepford wife) and shut her mouth and be used as a tool for whatever McCain needs her for him to get power.  The republicans have sunk to a new low.  (actually, come to think of it, an old low).

Well... I don't need to try to make myself sound legitimate by claiming that I'm relying on what "insiders" say.  I can tell you right here and now that any politician taking the stage for a speech in front of that many people and one that will be televised nationally, is coached and practices for hours.  That includes Obama.  I can also tell you that all politicians at that level rely upon the services of advisers and professional speech writers.  Including Obama.

If you are or were under the impression otherwise, then you are sadly misguided and uninformed.

But that doesn't surprise me.  You also seem to be under the impression that you have the miraculous power of telepathy with a direct line into Ms. Palin's mind and know what her opinions really are.  That, in itself, is very telling.
