I'm not sure how much Americans were aware that the world, literally, was watching this election. Here in the Bahamas when the election was called, the cheer went out loudly to you Americans. You may not care what the world thinks of your elections but if you do know that sooooooooooooo many people salute your bold choice. Caps off to America! We look at you with fresh eyes and a renewed hope that America will lead and lead well. Now get your financial business in order so the rest of the world can get back to financial stability. I am happy, proud, hopeful and relieved. What I didn't expect to feel is as emotional as I do. We've come a long way, baby, and I can't wait to see what the next four years will bring. The man has his work cut out for him, for sure.
