I like to be beaten

but realistically if someone tried to beat me into submission, then well obviously I don't feel submissive towards them. If I do not feel submissive towards them and they try to force me by beating me they better be pretty damn big and strong or I'll look like the cat that fights off peppy le pue. All claws, teeth and fury.

Hmmm, brings to mind of a possible animal control scene.

There are times when I've considered a "Getting to know me" scene, where I would bind a girl facing the wall, hands over her head and do a flogging for an extended period of time. Basically saying, "I will not hesitate to do this to my property."

We'll see.

Um... that doesn't sound all that fun.... Though I can sort of understand it.

You know what? Scratch what I just said. I'm thinking it could be fun for a scene on occasion, but not all the time (which is what the OP said anyhow... I think?).

im all for a beating, no need for the beating into submission usually im already there.. W/we'll do struggle scenes, and those are a blast!

However, i am not one for blood either so usually by the 5th or 6th slap to the face... i get it!

Screams of Game Playing. Being Beaten is determined by the individual. Some women like to play the game of "I Won't do it, No I won't, Spank me and slap me and then maybe I will" To me this is not submission this is simply Kinky Force Play.

If I were to BEAT Andi into submission then I would have to question my own ability to illicit the response that I desire from her. Now are there times that I feel the need to Center her? ABSOLUTELY, And I have had to do it with her once or twice.

By Centering I mean that she is on a Tyrant and going on and on and on about something that is neither here nor there in what I want from her and after calmly telling her to calm down or Stop three or four times I will grab her by her throat and look her deep in her eyes and say "I Told you to Stop" After doing this I usually get a two day period where she is overly quiet and second guessing herself but after that timid time passes I come back to her and we re-address her needs and where they were or were not being met.

There are times when Andi believes she needs it and there are times that she is just glad that I stopped it before it got any worse.

Does this happen a lot? No, every once in awhile usually when the Prozac is running thin and she is hormonal.

I know that may sound like a joke to some people but I am DEAD serious andi has Hormonal Depression and so she goes through bouts of anger every 6 months to a Year and this is the BEST method we have found for getting her attention and making the necessary changes rather than just yelling at each other for a few days and ending up still angry and hurt when our voices go out.

As for what I was considering, it may not be for you, but... there are some people that need to KNOW without a doubt that their top has the strength to give them what they need. Some need it, some don't, and it's a judgement call of the top, really. Some subs will happily submit without a blink, other subs need that physical reassurance that their top isn't squeamish and putting them in their place.

(grins) I've met subs like that. They'll poke and prod and poke some more until they illicit a response, just to learn the strength of character the top has.

When I FINALLY figured it out, I found it amusing, and dealt with it as such. When I did, I discovered a dramatic change in how subs reacted to me. Before, it wasn't all that positive, and I was often frustrated.

Thankfully no my male sub is not into this. If I had to beat him into submission I'd begin to question just how Dominant I am. I believe submission comes from a Dominants ability to inspire that in them. From my pov this sounds more like a type of play.

While I chose to be in a relationship that includes having to submit..........I'm afraid that *I* don't always want to. The majority of the time I do so contentedly, because it makes jolly good sense to. Part of the time I do so with reluctance and on the odd occasion I actively resist it and he has a *revolting slave* on his hands.

It's not a particularly big deal.

i get what Steel says about andi. i get the hormone monsters once a month and Master and i both know that for the most part the one thing that can get me out of it is a good beating. i see it more as beating the demons into submission, rather than Him beating His slave into submission however. He has my total submission already...

Sometimes the Gorean dynamic is about beating into submission. However, if someone tried it on me I would be filing charges. If the Master I am with doesn't get or deserve my submission, he certainly isn't going to get it by laying a hand on me. We already know he's bigger than I am, stronger than I am and a dominant--beating doesn't do a thing except prove it. Submission is my right to give as I see fit, being forced doesn't work for some of us.
