or..if you do not have any fleece, you can toss a box of Kool-Aid (might i suggest Cherry flavored?) in with the rinse cycle

Well, I did laundry the other day, and there was no cat hair in the lint. Reminded me how much I miss my late, great cats.

One time, my dryer was getting slower in drying so I had a service guy check it out. The dryer was working fine...it was the sparrows' nest in the vent that was not allowing the lint to get out!

That's an easy fix. Just keep the dryer's vent full of lint and the sparrows won't be able to build their nests in the vent. :) [... ducking ...]

House wrens stuffed up the vent to prevent other wrens from nesting there. By the time I discovered it, the whole vent pipe was clogged, and the dryer was clogged. Had to get the dryer serviced and it being one of the old paper vent pipes which are fire hazards, had to get that replaced. Damned bird brains.
