If you are referring to the advertisements for kink.com sites, the male actors are selected on cock size, and the ability to keep an erection for long periods of time, which isn't all that easy. These folks are there to make money, not to get off on chicks. Sex gets old pretty quick when you do it for a living.

You're pissed off by shallow, superficial people?

Your post is all about judging people based on their looks and age.  That is the very definition of the words, shallow and superficial. 
 
If you're more comfortable with someone you feel is "your level of attractive," nobody's stopping you.  I just hope, for the sake of whomever you're with, that that's not what it sounds like, for them, which is to be the second best that you think you should settle for.
 
Not only older men and attractive younger women get together, in real life.  I've had the pleasure of being with some younger men who are quite beautiful.  Out of my league.  But not.

Sounds like you’ve visited Australia where the youth culture has reached such a state where all things youth are worshiped and those past 40 are ignored and hopefully forgotten. No longer does Australian society treat the oldsters with respect and value them for what they have done and the knowledge and experience they can pass on but treat them with contempt and distain.. I’m new to the lifestyle and with my very first Dom. I’m 19 and he’s 41 so there is a large age difference however there are several reasons for it. Part of it is just our location we live in Maine not only do we live in Maine, but we live more toward the middle of the state which limits things even more. I was originally looking for a Dom closer to my own age maybe up to the age of 30 or so still older, but not as much; the thing that I found is there we only a couple anywhere near me and I wasn’t interested in them. I’m new so I’m not exactly sure what I want, I have a few ideas but I’m looking for someone who can help me explore. The doms my age were just getting into things themselves so that didn’t really interest me. Finally my dom had messaged me I wasn’t sure about his age , but we starting messaging back and forth then instant messaging and we just clicked. Even though he’s 41 he just doesn’t seem it. I like that he has experience I also like that he’s willing to go as slow as I want he’s not going to push me to do more than I want if I’m not ready for it. I won’t say that it isn’t a plus that he’s settled has his own house and stuff he’s comfortable enough that we can buy new toys and stuff.
I actually asked him the other night why he didn’t look for someone closer to his age. This came up because I’ve been going through a whole bunch of life stuff possibly transferring schools, ex boyfriend stuff, and other things needless to say I’ve been a tad bit emotional, so it made we wonder why he was willing to deal with that stuff. My thought is someone closer to his age would be more settled and stuff however like he said lots of times they are just looking for something different from their marriage or other things. He said the thing with me is that I’m very curious and open to things which makes it fun to work with me. Anyway I think there are several factors that come into play on why the dom is normally older.

Who told you that. I also see ads for 'man problems' in the newspaper and they always feature old people. Although I'm not one for believing stereotypes. People are not defined by an age group, different ages share the same abilities.

For me the old/young image is based on the fact most of those old male people in the porn industry that have made money have done so by being in it for eons and so being old is second nature.

Few pay to see a man fuck, females on the other hand flooding the market so could earn better sums in days gone past.
 
Not that I have a degree in Pornology or anything, let us be clear on that right now!
