I'm ready to be flamed for this, but I hope they give her styling help. She's got a pleasant face, and I thought her dress worked well for her so it doesn't mean a drastic overhaul. Shaping her eyebrows and haircut would give her a more polished look without killing her personal style. If she wants to be a professional entertainer she's going to have to put more into her appearance. I don't mean orange and overly tanned with highlights and drag queen makeup. There are a decent amount of talented Broadway and stage performers who don't fit the typical pop tart mold (they're not the Cosmo version of beautiful, or all that young, or extremely skinny), but they put more into their appearance than the average person - even when they have the talent to not do so. While I love that she's getting attention for being talented rather than her latest crotch shot, there's a small part of me that really hated the "ugly duckling" reaction everyone gave her. With a little more attention to her look (again, not an overhaul or big makeover) I think some of the "wow, an average looking person is talented - and over 18!" would go away.
