No one ever knows--the old westerns just faded out and cut to a new scene....

Unless it's scening....the stables do have a lot of rope, whips...hmmmm......

The new guy still has my knife, but I guess I could rip the dress off...

*walks her around to the back of the stage, behind the sunset, for some nighttime adventure*

Do we have a sheriff yet? Because we need  a sheriff. Or a marshal. I say we get a marshal, and we name his character Marshal Law. I further propose Merc should be made marshal.

PanthersMom -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (5/26/2009 10:09:57 PM)

good choice, i'll second it.

PM

YoursMistress -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (5/26/2009 11:32:15 PM)

Well, until the real lawman shows up, I guess I can be the reluctant chicken-shit local sheriff who's afraid of confrontation, (normally played by Harry Carey Jr. or Don Knotts) who runs and hides when the shootin' starts, which is right about now....scampers into Ms. Flutter's Mercantile...[sm=couch.gif]

yours

Thornhappy - Thanks for spelling me at the telegraph office, I've got to make a new batch of soap for the bathhouse.

There should be a brief scene or two with the Indians lurking on a hill or mesa (depending where this movie is taking place) observing everything, including who they might take as captives. Indian drums would beat ominously in the background.

GreedyTop -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (5/27/2009 7:42:21 AM)

I like the mesa thing..much cooler camera shot....especially at just past dawn, when the sky is that really pale shade of blue...the silhouette...

igor2003 -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (5/27/2009 7:51:47 AM)

Dear Diary,

Just got in the shipment of rope, carbiners, candles, lubes, and other expendables. I'm glad the telegraph is now up and running. The previous methods of communication left a lot to be desired. Had ordered 2 gross of the sheepskin prophylactics. Ended up with 2 very ugly sheep. Will have to check to see if anyone wants to start a sheep ranch. Also had ordered 30 carbiners and ended up with 30 very nice Winchester carbine rifles.

Today's schedule: 1-Make for sale sign for sheep to put in window. 2-Put out the word that I have some very good rifles at a VERY reasonable price. 3-Go to telegraph office to re-order the prophylactics and carbiners. 4-Sit on bench in front of store and whittle a wooden chain.
