Slightly different spelling, because of the language, but about the same. yes I know burka is a man's garment from some military garb (Russian or something I believe), but the word is sometimes spelled the same for the Islamic garb for females. edited to add: Even some dictionaries have both spellings in the definition: bur·qa or bur·ka play_w2("B0560950") (b r k ) n.
