He has these little cat tunnels - one is a leopard print, soft fabric tunnel that makes a crunchy sound when he's in it. It's in the living room. He likes to hang out in there with his toys. The other is one a neighbor gave him because her cats weren't interested in it. It's a nylon tunnel which is really LOUD (crunchy noise) and has little red lights that flash when he runs through it. He lovesssss this one! It's in the "cat room" (where his cat tree, window perch, and litter box cabinet are in), and when I go in there, he crouches into one entrance, gets all tense (you can see his back end wiggling as he gets ready), and the RACES through like a bullet....runs out the other end, and then turns around and looks at me, all excited-like. It's hilarious.

Right now he's in that room and I can hear ::crunch crunch crunch:: as he seems to be entertaining himself in there. Cracks me up!

I made it a point to bring a small amount of leftover turkey home from yesterday's gathering for Angel--and she turned her nose up at it in preference for her dry food!

I'm sure Misty would eat it, but with CRF, it's really not something she should have.

I'll keep an eye out for my foster-son Dusty and offer it to him if he comes around.

Summer is upset....

Cause I dared to move her cupboard, which used to stand next to my bed...to the opposit wall....and now have my new blue cupboard next to my bed....(cause doing it that way "her" cupboard fits in nicely - from its colour - to my desk which is made from the same solid wood)...though I think she relaxed now more...since I moved her cat bed onto my blue cupboard now....so she can still snuggle up on the cupboard next to my bed...just on a different cupboard now

Though, to remain on the safe side I closed my bedroom door....to ensure she doesn't use my bed as her luxury toilet to express her displeasure towards me

Summer seems to have forgiven me to swap my cupboards around....she seems to actually enjoy it now, being able to jump right from the bed up that lower cupboard as well as the fact that she hasn't to jump that deeply anymore when she leaves it...at the previous cupboard she needed another level to jump onto at first before she was able to jump onto it...

Mine are running around like crazy b/c they know something is up. Himself and I are off for a romantic few days and while we are gone, our kitchen floor is being redone and a new dishwasher is being installed.

So we've been packing, moving, etc, in preparation for the trip.

Plus I have their cat carriers out, since they go to their 'aunt's' house when we go away.

So major nuttiness here . . .

Haven't seen him post on this thread in ages. I checked his profile and it looks like he was last online 11/14/12. Don't know how he's doing.

Angel just returned from her morning romp outside and is now resting up. Misty has adopted the top of the sofa backrest as her new area and is snoozing there.

Thanks :-) He could be wacky, but he meant well.

Well, I found Angel's "secret stash" and see that I don't have amnesia after all. Last night, I observed her carrying something in her mouth and dropping it off under one of the vanity tables in the bedroom (which is covered by a table cloth that extends to the floor). I took a look under there and found several things I believed I had misplaced recently. There was my proxabush, a box of dental floss, a few pieces of jewelry, a candle, a pair of glasses, and several other objects. I thought I had misplaced each of these items and was beginning to wonder about myself.

Yeah, I was wondering for a while there. This just started happening within the last week or so. I thought I might have suddenly developed a condition that causes loss of memory. While I do misplace things, I am usually good at figuring out where I put them and find them fairly quickly.

I'm glad I caught Angel in the act and solved the mystery.

Spicy might come back at last

I received a phone call from the cat register and a lady called them....as the person on the phone asked if I actually reported him as missing (ahem dude...your agency sent me many leaflets about him being missing, some of them still can be seen in my village...just check your homepage cause he is still on there as being missing ) it seems to me, that this person checked at the vet if he has a chip...

I can't wait to get hold of her and to check it up to be sure  After all...this fellow is missing since almost 6 months now (sunday the 6th month would start)...and I just told F last night, that most likely I will never see Spicy again

Edited to add: Seriously...if I really get hold of him he will never be able to get outside again without some sort of GPS thingy onto him, where I can track him....hope something of that sort exists...

My highwhite calico Zelly likes to stay wherever she can keep an eye on Me: right now = 5 feet away on a cushy tall chair at the high table.
Verbs is behind Me on My Consort's desk.. already pushed off notepads and the mug of pens to make more room for his orange fluffiness!

Angel was bound and determined to get outside tonight. She heard my key in the door and positioned herself so she could dash right out the second the door was opened. I just saw a white streak go by.
