Thank you, GT! I've been flushing his little eye out with water (which he lovessssssssssss...not) and it seems to slowly be getting better.

That cat is out cheating on me, as usual, because the neighbors have fish and I've only got the cookies. He calls this "polyamory".

Maybe more like polyglomery, or polygluttony?

Weeeeelll, I have 10 cats, and right now, 4 of them are in various states of sleep in the same room I'm in, one is looking out the window in the next room, one is on the kitchen table , and I'm pretty sure the rest of them are in my bedroom asleep. Tough life...

But I loooooove my kitties, too!

Wow 10 cats? I have 4 all from the same litter they are nearly 3 years old now. I love their individual personalities. My cat Bailey thinks he owns me and will sit as close as he can to my face to get my full attention he even tries to knock my phone out of my hand.

Angel attempts to knock the cell phone out of my hand when I sit down and play a game of scrabble on the cell phone. She thinks it's an outrageous misuse of my time to be playing a computer game when there's a cat in the house that wants to be petted. Eventually, she will climb up on my chest and I'll manage to continue playing the game while petting her at the same time, though this does take some coordination.

Curry stops sulking now...cause he wasn't impressed that a guy who visited me over this weekend, was sleeping on his spot in my bed

Just realised that one or two of my cats (with 99.9% certainess my birmans) pissed and pooed on my bed

Damn I guess I should have asked for their permission if F is allowed to stay in their flat and sleep in their bed

And there I was so glad that they stopped that shit (cause until recently they did this on the sofa - thankfully I can wash my sofa properly)....only that they now restarted it

I still don't have a cat.

However, yesterday whilst walking in a strange town, I passed a rather fine specimen perched atop a tall gate, and paused to chat as is one's want.

A friendly creature in good condition with a fine coat who appreciated the casual ear/neck scratch.

Before I knew it, this dark tabby had moved from the gate-top my shoulders!
Luckily the Great Coat I was wearing protected me from the kneeding claws.
Of course I felt honoured to recieve this attention, and was happy to continue fussing the purring pussy.

But it wouldn't leave me.
The bloody thing wouldn't get off!
I tried to encourage it back onto the gate by providing a bridge of my arm, back onto the gate. Nope.
Leaning myself against the gate so the cat could simply step, or even roll should it wish, back onto it's original perch. Nope.

It was firmly in place. Making a lovely kneck warmer it has to be said, but I wanted to move on, and feared being spied by a curtain twitching cat-owner who feared it's prescious pussy was being catnapped should I stroll away with a new fur collar.

I wasn't appreciating the attention from passers-by either. My pussy being a conversation starter is not something I'm all that used to.

Contoring myself to attempt and shove the creature with one had around the back of my neck as I leaned once again onto the gate was just getting silly, and I was sure the purs had turned to feline laughter. Certainly a smirk was detected in the face pressed to mine.

At the point I was about to grab and throw the troublesome moggy forcably from me and not only back onto it's vantage point, but most likely across two or three gardens, it stepped off as free as you like.
Bastard!

Nope. I don't have a cat.

Misty has got to be one of the silliest kitties ever. She and Angel get the exact same food. Lately, she has taken a few bites of her own food, then stood by Angel's plate until Angel left, then finished off what she didn't eat. Tonight, she couldn't wait. She turned her back on her own food, went over to Angel's plate, and started eating off Angel's plate while she was still there. Angel thought about giving her a swat, but remembered that she gets in trouble when she does that. So she abandoned her plate and left it to Misty.

I don't why Misty is convinced that Angel's food is better when it is the exact same thing, LOL.

my male orange tabby is being groomed by one of the puppies. his sister, also an orange tabby, has decided to play the invisible game, i can't figure out where she's curled up sleeping. my third orange tabby, totally unrelated to the other two, has decided she owns the couch in the living room and might share if you pay the toll of scritching her ears while she drools all over you in happiness.

I have... or rather, my daughter has/had a cat named Claire. I have an awesome pic of her laying on my laptop with collarme in the background, but it won't upload right now.. too big..but, I just feel the need to vent right now. This seems like a good place, filled with cat lovers.

My daughter brought her home a year ago 4th of July.. she was a stray living in a grocery store parking lot. she was not 6 weeks.. maybe 4 weeks..not sure. Fiesty.. skinny.. a mess.. but purred if you looked at her.. so sweet. but we tried to giver her a bath.. OMG never in all my years have i seen such viciousness. complete fail. took her to vet.. my daughter paid over $250. of her McDonalds savings to get her healthy and fixed. We all fell in love with the little Domme.
She was very small still.. even though full grown now. Master is allergic to cats. But He let her sleep on our bed. She charmed even him. I think because she didnt take NO for an answer..:)
Last Sunday eve, she didn't come inside with our other cat. very very unusual... still i didn't worry too much.. cats are cats.. independant. But as the days passed.. i worried more and more.
We called the shelter, checked Craigs list.. no luck.
Today, my son noticed a trap in a neighbors yard. A small trap right smack in the middle of his yard. He has a reputation for such things... puting out poison laced dog food, etc..Master had 2 dogs poisend mysteriously a few years ago..
I went to his house.. knocked on his door, told him about my daughter's missing cat. He said, yes he trapped a cat. Said he doesn't remember what it looked like..! Really???? Or what day it was. but, hee said he took it to the shelter. which is closed until Monday morning. I asked him why would he trap someone's pet???
He said it was shitting in his flower bed. but he looked away... (Claire annoyed me by coming in from outside and going straight to the litter box)
Again, I asked him what he did with the cat he trapped. Again he looked away, and said he took it to our local shelter.
Now, I wait until Monday morning. On Monday, I also have to get our Marriage License and pick Master up at the airport.. it was a busy crazy day before Claire went missing.. now, i am praying she is there, but i truly believe he killed her. When he told me he took her there, I said , well I called them, and they have no cats from this neighborhood. He looked away. again. And said nothing. . When he told me he took her there, I said , well I called them, and they have no cats from this neighborhood. He looked away. again. And said nothing. How does one live close to someone like this???

I haz sadness..:(

Poor Angel misses her good buddy. My neighbor's cancer had been in remission, but I suspect she's taken a turn for the worse, as it appears she doesn't live in her townhouse anymore. She was fond of Angel and used to feed her table scraps when she'd go out. Her granddaughters would always want to play with Angel when they came over to visit, which they don't do anymore. I saw Angel sitting on her porch today, probably wondering where she went.

I currently have 5 rescues, and the possibility of a 6th kitty who is a stray that shows up on my property.  Layla is sharpening her claws on her fav scratchpost ~ the deck posts, Bambam has jumped on top of the curio cabnet for his afternoon nap, Pebbles is in dad's bed sound asleep, Spike has claimed the couch today & one eyed Georgie is begging bits of crab meat from dad.  A very happy lot they are!  And spoiled!  :)  Being a dog/horse person it never ceases to amaze me how attached I am to these marauding mouser's I now call 'mine'.

^^ Yay rescue pets! :)
Sleeping in the bathroom laundry basket. The room is small so it stays pretty warm in there with the door closed, and it's cold outside so, hell, I'd do it too if I were that small, lol.

I'm keeping an eye on my freshly baked holiday pies as they cool so certain kittehs don't get ideas about jumping up and licking the pies, as some have been known to do in the past.
