Viktor has a cold. He sneezes, then licks his leg and wipes his nose with it....repeatedly. Sometimes if a really big sneeze is coming, he runs up to me in a panic, just in time to CHOO right onto me - lovely. Poor baby, though.

I have a new little kitten - he likes to hide under furniture and then spring out and leap on my leg when I walk by, but he doesn't put his little claws out - so it's like he's giving me surprise kitty hugs! I love him :)

Hope Viktor is feeling better soon.

If there were a dumbest cat on the planet award, I know who would win--my "foster son," Dusty. He is a small stray that showed up under the tree in my yard in 2009 when he was a kitten. I fed him for about 6 months, then he migrated and became part of my neighbor's outdoor cat clan.

He is a small black and gray cat. He blends in very well with the pavement on the road. Tonight, I drove up the street and he continued to just lay right in the middle of the street. I had to drive around him. I honked, but he did not budge. He is around 4 years old now and I seriously don't know how he has managed to live that long. This is far from the first time he's pulled this stunt. The people in this community must be very observant, since he has not been run over yet in spite of tempting fate on a regular basis.

I'm sorry, I'm afraid my cat Spooky can easily challenge yours for the dumbest cat in the world award. He was also a stray who moved into my basement during the winter 4 years ago and never left.

This cat (when he was still allowed to go out) used to come inside to use the litter box. He has never caught a bug,. and doesn't know to chase them. He only eats dry cat food, no wet food, no people food.

It's only been in the last month that he has been eating cat snacks. In other words, it took him 4 years to learn that cat snacks taste good.

He knows his name, but rarely comes when called, or if you make a scratchy sound to get his attention.

I've had quite a few cats, he really is dumb, far too dumb to be allowed out, he gets beat up. But you know, he forgot he was allowed out, so he's good with it.

He's a gorgeous white cat with blue eyes and fantastic fur. But we think he's developmentally a/o mentally challenged (for real).

He's very sweet and loving though.

Thank you MysticFireTopaz! He catches these little colds once in awhile, I have no idea how he gets them since he's an indoor only cat. It usually lasts about 3 days.

My sister's neighbor had an old old ollllllllllllld dark grey cat who would just lay in the street. Same thing - no one knows how she lived that long, but all the neighbors would carefully drive around her. She has since passed, but not from a car, thankfully.

CP your Spooky sounds adorable. He also sounds like he looks a lot like Viktor - gorgeous long white fur, only Viktor has one blue eye and one yellow/amber eye. Pink nose and ears...so dang cute. :)

My thanks, I'd love to see every one's updated kitty love photos ( to put names with cats!)

Aw thanks. He seriously looked like a rat when I brought him so - so emaciated, very little/blotchy fur. I'd love to see other's pics, too!

Here is one of Misty at the vet. She was very indignant about going to the vet in the first place, and the vet tech putting a bandana on her added insult to injury.

The poor thing is up in years (will be 17 on January 15th) and suffers from Chronic Renal Failure. She's a very sweet cat. She's always been a tiny thing, weighing in around 5 lb.

Here's one of Angel. I received a navy tote bag as a gift at a professional association. She, of course, decided she likes it and proceeded to lie on it and get her white fur all over it.

She's extremely affectionate with people, but likes to give other cats a hard time. She keeps poor Misty on her toes. She's 6 years old and at 13.5 lb., much bigger than Misty (and never lets her forget it).

Here's one of Dusty, the one who's not so bright.

He's a little grey and black guy. He's only a little bigger than Misty, maybe 6 lb. or so. He showed up in my yard in the summer of 2009. I estimated him to be about 6 months at the time, so he's probably around 4 now. Like I said earlier, it's a miracle he's lived this long with the way he likes to lie in the streets. With his color, he blends right in with the pavement.

He is now part of my neighbor's outdoor cat clan, but still likes to visit here. He has a crush on Angel, who detests him. I call him her "bothersome boyfriend."

Viktor is just gorgeous !! Great eyes, *and* he looks like he has a brain behind them.

Spooky pretty much always has that blank look. (I tried to find a pic that shows his blue eyes - but can't find one right now. DANG)

WOW ! Angel and Spooky look so much alike (except Spook has blue eyes). Spooky weighs even more, he's pretty chunky. The vet calls him 'buff.'

Unfortunately, he's not smart enough to throw his weight around. Trilby wins all the jousting matches - and he only weighs in at around 9 lbs.
