Pico is probably still enjoying her "adventure"...at least it's not 100+ degrees outside. It's good that she knows where home is, hopefully, she'll tire of the Great Outdoors and decide to return home.

So far, no accidents on the scooter.....I did nick one of Bitty's toes, but they have all learned to tuck their tails in, and to watch out for me when I'm moving around. I have another 5 weeks on the soft cast and scooter, then 4 weeks on a walking cast, then physical therapy. I fell over on my bike, my knee was pointing north and my toes pointing west. Broke the ends of both leg bones, the fibula got plated, the tibia got screws. When I do something, I do it right! I'm actually getting good at motoring around on the knee walker. By the time I get off of it, my right leg and buttock will be rock hard, and the other thigh should be too from supporting my weight. Of course, I was getting decent exercise on the bike, so I really didn't need this!

One of my 'lil darlings got me up at 4 A.M., then again at 8 A.M.

My sister recently got a Shih Tzu puppy, who loved playing rough with Pico. The feeling was not always mutual, so maybe Pico wants to be an outdoor cat to get away from the Shih Tzu. She also has a Siamese cat, but the Shih Tzu doesn't play with her. She says the Shih Tzu really misses Pico and is always looking for him. Pico, on the other hand, would pick on the Siamese cat, who doesn't miss Pico in the least and seems happier without him.

Anyway, hopefully Pico will go back in the house soon, where he is safer.

That could be the reason the Pico went outside, Mystic. Puppies can be very trying for cats; perhaps the Siamese had set the puppy stright once and that's why he chose Pico.

I now have a cupboard cabinet in my room, thanks to my sis, and Bitty has been on the top of it trying to get the little green dot in the smoke detector, Directly below that detector is the chair that I set there for the kittehs to use to hop up on the cupboard. In said chair is where Boo has been snoozing most of the day.....I'm waiting for Bitty to try for the "bug", fail, and plop down on Boo. I already know when it happens that I will proceed to pee myself from laughing so hard, and then spend the next 10 minutes apologizing to Boo for laughing at him. Bitty, too. I am such a bad kitty mama!

Yeah, if the puppy was annoying enough, Pico may find outdoor life preferable. The Siamese isn't in the best of health, so Pico was probably more fun for the puppy to play with.

The puppy is still looking high and low for Pico, while the Siamese is thrilled he's gone. From what my sister says, Pico tormented the Siamese just like the puppy tormented him.

We also have to have our lovey-dovey nap time together when he keeps on kissing me and rubbing up next to me. And won't stop. Damn, I have to find me a male sub like that.

We're playing our morning 'kitchen' game.

To play the game, Jasmine goes into the kitchen and meows for a bit. After that the humans have to respond. "Not Jasmine's kitchen. Mommy's kitchen." That is her cue to come to the living room playfully so the humans can pet her and talk to her about how there is nothing in the kitchen for her. The game ends with Jasmine climbing into Dad's lap while he's in his computer chair.

It's become something of a ritual over the past month or so. It can happen during other times of the day, too, but it's quickly becoming a morning tradition.

Well, both Bitty and KB got out on me tonight. I went out to feed my ferals, and Bitty went out, and instead of running back into the room, he ran upstairs into another room, and got scared away by the guy there, then he ran off someplace. So, I propped my door open a few inches, and KB snuck out. When I made a round calling for Bitty, KB answered me, than ran upstairs. Well, I had to scoot up the stairs on my ass, grab him, and scoot back down. Got him indoors. Called thru the door fir Bitty awhile later, and ~ZOOOOOM!, he ran out the door and across the parking lot.

They both have done this once before and came home, I can only hope that both will return. When they fo, they will be locked in the bathroom anytime I need to go near the door. I need this worry like I need a kick in the head. Even tho my ankle is healing from the break and surgery, the last thing I need to do is to have a fall messing around the sidewalks and curbs, I've fallen off this stupid walker twice so far......if Karma screws me over one more time, I quit!

Edited for update......KB is home, he just took a stroll, I guess. But he didn't bring Bitty back with him.....so I'm still short one kitteh. <aybe tomorrow. It's going to get chilly here tonight, I gope he misses his blankey and brothers.

oops, a new cat is here now, and using kitty-claws to self-lobotomize itself. I ask the kitty, "why, why?"

and the kitty uses a hacked-variant of siri to 'say' on the iPad mini,

It seems as though I have a new kitty (sort of).
She showed up late Spring and I only caught glimpses of this gaunt grey thing.

After putting food down for a few months, she finally let me just touch her when she was eating in July.
After awhile she was as interested in my petting her as in the food I put out.
Monday night was especially cold here and I brought her in.

She is doing well and is a cuddle-bug with a delightful purr.

Her name is Ellie.

Well, it looks like my sister's cat Pico is gone for good. After seeing him on her fence a few times, and noticing that he had eaten some of the food she left out, he took off again and she hasn't seen him in a couple weeks now.

Fat-boy & Luna . . . the two cats I inherited with my slave/wife are now living with my wife's ex-wife. She was in a lesbian marriage for 11 years and her ex recently came back to town. Luna was the ex's fav anyway and it is good to keep them paired up. It's nice they are going to home with someone they already know and love. We had the cats to the vet for their medical, some blood work, they were groomed, shaved and nails clipped. Then we bought $185 worth of food and toys to go with the cats to their new home with an old friend. Here they are with the dog last year waiting for the apocalypse.

Luna, my little black devil, is sitting on top of the hamster cage monitoring the teddy hamster. Just in case the unlike event happens and the cage magically opens itself ;-) It's like cat TV *gg*

When I had an aquarium, the cat I had at the time would do something similar. He would watch the fish by the hour, fantasizing about catching one some day. He would even stick his paw in the aquarium in the hole where the filter went through, hoping a fish would one day be stupid enough to swim into his paw. Of course, that never happened, but it did keep him entertained all day.
