Aww, what a great pic, RS!

Viktor is snuggled up with me on the recliner at the moment.

I've had company coming and going the last couple of weeks and I love that he is so curious about who comes over, walking right up to them to get to know who's here. I love that he's not skittish anymore.

Meowing at me and acting like she is starving. She can see the bottom of her bowl so it must be empty. I mistreat her...

Just changed the kitty litter. She sat there the entire time looking at me as if to say, "Hey, do you mind? I was still using that."

Now she is just staring at me... I think she is plotting my death.

It's a ghost cat so it's leaving trails of kitty-ectoplasm all over the place.

But at least it's a Virgo ghost Kitty so it takes very good care of itself, grooming-wise, and smells not at all.

Misty loves that I am working from home this week. I was on a conference call when she jumped up on my chair and meowed loudly into the phone. I had to quickly put the phone on mute. No one said anything, but it was audible.

Oh that's hilarious!

I work from home one day a week. The entire day, Viktor is just lazing around doing nothing. EXCEPT when I get on a conference call. That's when he starts meowing, playing, jumping on the flat screen TV, running across my keyboard...just basically wreaking havoc.

Until I hang up. Then he's totally mellow again.

One of my cats - a tabby & WHITE one - has made her-fluffy-ladyship-self at home in my BLACK jeans. Which means I can't move her cos she looks so cosy, but those jeans will need de-furring for days now. And my other cat is leaping about in the doorway trying to catch a dozy fly that's been bothering us for 2 days.

Yeah, Alley will generally be all quiet and mellow until I am on the phone or voice chatting online and then she goes into attention seeking fits of meowing, leg rubbing and pawing at my arm with a generous helping of purring. Some people think that it is cute, but I have to put up with it all the time... and it isn't all that cute... but I understand why she does it... she is sending encoded messages out over the Internet and phone lines.

Where is my tin foil?

Nutmeg is sleep. Anise is roaming around after waking from a nap. Shhh... I think she wants to pounce on Nutmeg.

Just got a paw on my arm, lots of purring and leg rubs. I'm not talking to anyone. Looked over, food and water are full. This is why I own a cat.

I had quite a scare today! Angel was missing for over 24 hours.

I let her out yesterday afternoon. Before I go to bed, I let her in, but she was not there. I couldn't sleep, so I called her several times during the night. When the sun came out, I searched for her on foot to no avail.

This afternoon I was working from home and something told me to check the detached garage. It had slipped my mind that I brought some things in from the garage yesterday . Voila! There she was. She must have entered the garage without my noticing. The poor thing was locked in the garage the whole time. It's a good thing I checked, because I'm not driving this week and would not have had occasion to go in the garage for several days.

Bitty has a new game....I am on a rolling walker for a broken ankle (long story), and he waits until I am trying to get in or out and darts outside. He's done this once, and he just ran in a circle all freaked out before running back inside. I almost fell over backwards and I banged the foot again. And they are all tempting fate because the are used to me on it now, so they no longer tuck in their tails......and I'm deathly afraid of running over one....it will break it for sure. So I'm rolling around constantly watching out for tails and feet.....so far, so good.

Mystic, did Pico come home yet? Glad you found Angel......they are a sneaky little bunch of critters, aren't they? I can leave, watching like a hawk, and close the door, turn around, and there sits Smooch or Bitty.....I don't even see them sneak out!

Nueva, Viktor is such a handsome fellow!

Hey Gauge, glad to see you're back.....this wouldn't happen to be the stray you took in a while back, would it?

I can relate to everyone's attention stories.....my bunch will pretty much ignore me until I get on the computer, and them I'm surrounded by kitteh bodies trying to drape themselves all over the place. Bitty will come up and bite me in the back of the legs for attention.....he just tried it about 10 minutes ago, and got a mouthful of ace bandage! Of course, I went "neener, neener" so he bit the back of my right leg! Little pisser!

s2s: No, Pico is not home yet, but my sister's partner did see him on the fence in their yard. When approached, he ran off. They are leaving food and water out for him. Someone is eating the food, hopefully Pico. So they do know he's alive, but the challenge will be getting him back in the house.

Sorry to hear about your ankle. Hope it heals soon!
