Now conservatives are another story.  We have some excellent conservative posters around these parts.  Constantly outnumbered, to be sure, but that just makes it interesting.

Care to do the math to support your victimization by those nasty, horrible liberals?

LOL!  Victimization????  In the military, RML, or maybe in a gang of pick-pockets, this would be called a target rich environment.

Victimization?!?!?!

Once again you are putting words in my mouth.I dont care if those acts are mentioned, the document directly links Conservative and Liberitarian party leaders and memebers to Violent terrorists, no ifs ands or buts.
Yousing your logic, having gay sex will give you aids
Report on a far right fringe group? Liberitarians are not a far right fringe group. But you probably going to call them that any way, because they dont give obama thumbs up while fellating him.

I dont care if DHS (which I should not exist in the first place) is looking at terrorist groups. I care that they circulate a document among the law enforcment community directly linking Liberitarian party with terrori

I got news for you, any band of violent racist can call themselves militia. The DHS report is bullshit, Im a part of militia and a cars carrying Liberitarian. According to this report Im a right wing racist and I am preparing to kill federal agents.

According to you Im a right wing racist.

Im not fellating Obama, so I must be from the right wing fringe?

You are a bigot.

You keep lying louder and louder. Show me one word that says that any of the candidates they mention, any of their supporters outside of the fringe loonies are in any way involved with this. If you dislike the fact that such people tend to gravitate to the groups and politicians mentioned, that is unfortunate. Until you can show me a word saying that either conservatives or conservative politicians are viewed as terrorists, I will continue to consider your points completely invalid.

Also, please note that I do not have any idea of whether you are a racist or not. I also am not interested in who you are fellating. Those things are your business and I'm really happier not knowing.

Hi we had this conversation before, page 6 of the document I mentioned.

Okay, well I did the math for you and Sanity, based on this thread.

There are 12 conservative-leaning posters here, 13 liberal-leaning posters, and one I would judge as neutral.

So that hardly plays into your argument that conservatives are vastly outnumbered here.

Though that seems to be the constant conservative cry these days.

Yes, and it was a lie then and it is a lie now...you can continue shouting "page 6" all you like. It doesn't make it true. What was said was that those who join the malitia movement tend to favor certain candidates and present certain ideologies. That is in no way a condemnation of the candidates or the ideologies. Or do you think that the militia members and potential terrorists within them were pretty equally split between Paul and Obama in the last primary season? Do you think that those who would bomb abortion clinics are split pretty evenly between members of Opperation Rescue and NAARL?
This is a report about a small sliver group that might or might not pose a threat. To try to make it more is laughable or pathetic. Take your choice.

You can continue to shout "page 6" at the top of your lungs. My initial point remains. You are either deluded or lying, about this matter, just as you are deluded or lying about my calling you either a racist or a mass murderer. In fact, the only claim of bigotry came from you. If you had any credibility, I would consider being offended.

As for the list of terrorist acts, obviously you feel that shooting federal judges, spreading sarin gas and killing a state trouper in the course of his lawful duty are acts of true Americanism.

Do you have a point are are we just down to sputtering now?

Once again you dance around logic like Barishnikov at studio 54. I never said you did any of those things. I just said that if you considered calling people who did so terrorists, you must not consider them terrorist acts. Or were you just saying that we should ignore right wing terrorists because it might offend the right wing?

As for even bringing up the word racist, that is just another lie you have brought forth. Or is that on page 6 as well?
.
Please do pick a stream of thought and stick with it.

Whatever database meets your needs, RML.  You have fun with that.  I'm not even going to approach a discussion of how to specifically divide and define the core of regular drunks around this checkers board and woodstove (26 by your count, huh?).

Want to explain your methodology?

GoDolphins -> RE: White House advisers say Fox News is not news (10/22/2009 3:21:38 PM)

I've never been a big fan of Fox News but I really wonder what has the Obama administration so scared of them. Fox must be saying something right they don't like. So far the Obama camp has done absolutely nothing to actually show what Fox has done that is so bad, other than not kissing Obama's ass on everything like MSNBC does, and CNN has done many times in the past.

mnottertail -> RE: White House advisers say Fox News is not news (10/22/2009 3:23:52 PM)

I doubt the administration is scared of them.

They are after all, the administration, and it is only Fox news.

To be fair, they have said much worse things about Obama (through Limbaugh) than the Dixie Chicks ever did about Bush, and look what happened to them.
Maybe Obama's just narked about the absence of this liberal media conspiracy that Bush spent most of his eight years in office whining about?

I wonder how long Bush will be the excuse for the Obama-ites...

Ok guys, Bush was bad, we get that. But using a "fuck-up"s" fuck ups as an excuse to dismiss your own is rather self righteous, pathetic and frankly un-original.

Same shit different day I guess; politics as usual and all the crap that proves they have no interest in sincere improvement or any of the other crap that they claimed sets them apart from the past establishment.

Long live political corruption, it gives you blood thirsty, drama queens of a nation all of the reality TV you can stand.

Just basing it on this thread, and it seems pretty easy to divide the viewpoints.

I think you could pick most any thread at random and find similar results.

But what I'm curious about is where this whole victim mentality, we're outnumbered and everyone is always picking on us, comes from.

Because it's not just on these boards, it's everywhere you look lately, from Fox News to conservative websites.

I'm almost starting to feel sorry for you guys myself.

cuckoldmepls -> RE: White House advisers say Fox News is not news (10/22/2009 8:12:58 PM)

Geeze, this is the most absurd claim I've ever heard. Everyone knows that nbc, abc, and cbs are in the backpocket of every liberal politician in this country. They are so politically correct that their ass puckers if anyone even dares to speak the truth. Case in point, illegals aliens. National polls indicate that 80% of the population want strict enforcement, and yet the media makes it look like a controversial issue. This is insane. They have 3 big networks in their corner, and we have 1, and the white house has the nerve to attack the only network that routinely reports both sides.

By the way, in one of the latest national polls, only about 21% admitted to being a liberal, so nationwide conservatives are still in the majority. It's just that a lot of people feel like they will be throwing their vote away if they vote for anyone except the 2 party candidates, and the real problem is that republicans have resorted to the same tactics democrats have which is catering to splinter groups at the expense of the majority. So basically, as the republicans have moved to the left following the democrats lead, it has forced the democrats to move even further to the left.

The democrats have been taken over by left wing radicals who don't even know what a border is, can't control their spending, and they ignore the 1st, 2nd, and 10th amendments to the Constitution as if the Constitution was nothing but a @#! #@$% piece of paper. In, their ultimate goal is to call a Constitutional Convention and rewrite the constitution in the Obamanations image. Now, that's scary.

Everyone knows this huh?

Well, if you say so it must be true, because you seem like a pretty fair-minded and knowledgeable person.

So who am I to argue?

Can you give some examples of Fox supporting both sides?

Because I can, and have, given examples of the opposite.

GoDolphins -> RE: White House advisers say Fox News is not news (10/22/2009 9:13:46 PM)

What happened to the Dixie Chicks wasn't right, for the most part.  They did deserve criticism for going overseas and criticizing our president when they should have been doing that thing where they supposedly "sing" (I'm not a big fan of the Dixie Chicks).  It was not the time or place for that kind of statement.  But the death threats and everything else they got because of it were even more wrong.

Since when is Limbaugh an employee of Fox News?

I've noticed this too.  It's basically how Obama got elected.  "Change."  It worked.  Not many people stoppd to actually think about what kind of change he was talking about.  It didn't matter because to a lot of people anything HAD to be better than Bush, right?

Bush was a sorry excuse for a president.  That doesn't mean Obama should simply try to be marginally better.  Right now it's arguable he's even at that level.  But apparently he will be successful if he manages to achieve that level.

tazzygirl -> RE: White House advisers say Fox News is not news (10/22/2009 9:20:05 PM)

Wasnt there a gay march in DC recently?

And wasnt it Fox news who used ABC's video feed to show the "crowds"?

Which soft of struck me as funny, since they were filming from their DC desk and could have pointed the camera out the window to get their own view.

10 - 20% of our population is gay.  Enough to swing a vote?
