But it did hurt. There is so much wrong with this administration and this party, I don't know where to start. Corrupt and racist cabinet officials and czars, broken promises about openness in government, missteps handling the economy, government takeovers of private business and a wrecking of the dollar... where is the work towards the balanced budget. Where is there evidence of movement towards any of the lofty promises that were made? Especially that his administration was going to be post racial and bipartisan? What a sad, sick joke that turned out to be. Endless promises, empty words.

Blue Dogs are going to be looking over their shoulders and Obama is looking very weak.

I can't help but noticing that you don't talk about the ideas these winners have for changing things. I don't notice any proud crowing about what they are fix the things you talk about. I can't help but noticing that you don't talk about the ideas these winners have for changing things. I don't notice any proud crowing about what they are fix the things you talk about. These two elections did one thing. The voters are sending the current administration a message telling them to slow down. We don't like the direction we are taking. If the democrats don't pay attention it will be 1994 all over again.

But I still stand by the prediction I made months ago. In '10 the republicans will gain some seats but not get a majority and in '12 (barring an incredibly unforeseen event that is disgusting and stupid like...oh....trying to blow an undercover cop in a public men's room) Obama gets another four years.

I actually agree with spinner. These elections are flat out jokes. It doesn't matter who you put in to office because nothing will get done for the greater good of the people. Instead, there will be a continuum of corruption and representation towards the corporations and interest groups. In short, we're beating a  going back and forth between republicans and democrats .

Nah, its pretty big. Obama won heavy victories in both states just last year and now the voters have turned on him - this is going to cause a cold shadow to hang over the Blue Dogs.
