And everyone is aware absent a well defined motive it coldn't possibly be a terrorist act .
Meanwhile two party crashers happened to get their picture taken with the President of the United States.
Their motive was apparently simple ......publicity seeking fools.
No terrorism ties though despite the clarity of motive.

tazzygirl -> RE: White House Party Crashers/How did THAT happen? (11/28/2009 11:12:59 AM)

LOL

and you are next going to suggest the Oklahoma attack wasnt a terrorist attack either.

you are too cute lucky!

I find it amusing, Panda, that these are the two who screech about how the government never tells the truth, yet is readily able to accept the anthrax attacks were perpetuated by a man with no motives beyond.. a sick sense of humor?

The name calling no longer bothers me. I just chalk it up to them being unable, and unwilling, to define their argument when called upon it. Neither offers up support for their positions, which i find interesting, and at times laughable.

I get a kick out of it too, because I'm a coldblooded sonofabitch and I enjoy watching people I don't like make fools of themselves. So in that sense, I really do find the meltdowns amusing.

But at the same time, unlike you the namecalling  does bother me. Far more than it amuses me.  Not because I mind when children call me names or stick their tongues out at me, but because of what it does to the level of debate around here. They're lowering the tone of the discussion and dragging it down into the mud, which discourages intelligent posters from participating.

And who can blame them? What's the point? You spend a half hour researching, formulating, and typing a thorough and intelligent argument, and the response is that Lucky comes swinging down out of the trees and calls you some childish name. Or if not Lucky, Willbe. Or whomever. What's the point of even trying to have a discussion if that's where it's going to wind up?

tazzygirl -> RE: White House Party Crashers/How did THAT happen? (11/28/2009 11:22:49 AM)

Ah, thats when you treat them like the children they are showing themselves to be, smile indulgently, explain in simple terms what they are belittling, then pat them lightly on the bottom and take them into the next room to watch Beck while the adults continue their conversations.

luckydawg -> RE: White House Party Crashers/How did THAT happen? (11/28/2009 11:24:25 AM)

Where did I ever say that tazzy. Of course it was. It was not the work of a large network, but of 2-3 nuts. there is no network churning out more of them. There was never a training camp, creating thousands of Mc veys. No one paid Mcvey. And is paying others.

To say they are the same thing is kind of dumb.

And luckily, Obama agrees with me.

But you and Panda can attack what I never said, your good at that. and that certainly elevates the ....Not

tazzygirl -> RE: White House Party Crashers/How did THAT happen? (11/28/2009 11:26:18 AM)

A terrorists does not need a network.. a training camp... ect. Look at the unibomber for an example if you must.

YOur funny panda. I loved your made up definition of "directly quoting" which involved changing the words to twist the meaning.

And your made up definiton of "on Pain of death"

Chuckling at the trolls

And this is exactly what I'm talking about. I linked you to two separate websites that support exactly the definition I used - word for word - and you can't even fucking read them. Or, you're lying. Either way, you just make up whatever you want to make up and claim you're right and everyone who doesn't agree with you is a troll. No wonder the decent, intelligent conservatives who used to post here so regularly hardly ever even show up anymore. They're ashamed to be associated with you.

luckydawg -> RE: White House Party Crashers/How did THAT happen? (11/28/2009 11:27:32 AM)

actually I quoted both definitons in full, and they agreed with me. But it is up to the readers to decide, I suppose, since you like to play dumb.

Unfortunately, McVeigh was a member of a group of more than 2-3 nuts.  You want to forget McVeigh was a republican; a member of the NRA and a self described libertarian; wing nuts all.

"McVeigh's only known political affiliations were his voter registration with the Republican Party when he lived in Buffalo, New York, and a membership in the National Rifle Association while in the military.[11] McVeigh self-identified as a libertarian in a statement that was reported by MSNBC.com and The Washington Post;[12] and while in federal prison, he voted for Libertarian candidate Harry Browne in the 1996 United States presidential election."

Serial killer, not a terrorist. Why don't we bring in Ed Gein or Albert Fish if you're going to resort to that? They seem to have terrorised a few people.

Becaus it doesnt matter. There are some sociopaths who just want to commit mayhem for the sake of mayhem and will find some reason to do it. Their political affiliation isnt the cause of what they do, its an excuse.

By what appears to me the idea of terrorism definition it would hold then every act of gang violence in the US is an act of terrorism, which would make most of the crime then occuring in the US acts of terrorism as well as any and all violence due to corporate motivated violence etc. So why the sudden focus on calling things terrorism instead of simply violent crime in the US. So can you really pinpoint terrorism increase on a President? Gangs have been around long before Bush or Obama etc. It amazes me how people want to call things terrorism because it fits to take a jab at a President when based on the very basic of definition, terrorism happens every day in the news by the general population of the US. Is it simply a crime if a gang shoots a patron of a neighborhood because that patron won't do as they want etc and its terrorism because some guy flips out and his gun kills more people than just one because OTHER people didn't do as he wanted?

And sorry but when crime is averted on the local levels or even the basic federal levels i don't applaud a President for same - it appears most would presume to do so.

Timothy McVeigh wanted to make a political statement so he bombed a federal building and killed 168.  Such is a typical republican/ neo conservative response to frustration and inadequacy, to wit;  kill someone else; take away someone else's rights; torture someone else. (sounds familiar)

John Gacy killed 33 because he was hungry and was a cannibal.

And, they are alike how?

If I were going to "crash" someplace it'd be someplace "fun."
Why would anyone want to "crash" a W.H. "party?"
Oh great, you get to dress up in "formal wear" and stand up straight all the time and no getting drunk or smoking I assume. Then,.....they get to eat *vegetables!* And some "grains" and rice and probably some stinky "curry!" Then talk to strangers about nothing! Wow!
What's on the agenda for next weekend, break into a nursing home and try to tell jokes to alzheimer's patients? "Boy this is a tough crowd, "rimshot."
One person's boring sermon in church is another person's "fun" I guess.
"Hey, I have "connections" with the Indian embassey, you want "in?" "Ah, no thanks, I'd rather chew on tinfoil."
