I've lost 20lbs since Christmas and dropped a panty size, at this rate, I'll drop another one before the middle of march.

Lol... My trainer always tells me that's not an excuse! I'm going out on the slippery roads tonight to get to the gym.

[sm=dunno.gif]Sometimes real life interferes. I think that working out for 2hrs a night M-F entitles me to at least 1 weeknight off. I'll do squats & free weights at home & I'll even do ab work.
Now I can bake the veggie lasagna.....won't eat any until tomorrow night but I can make it tonight.
I have to work all night on Sat/then I have class all day on Sun so an easy meal will be MUCH appreciated!
That & some salad & I'll be in 7th Heaven![:D]

I have this really wonderful white shirt with rhinestones on it.  It's a very small 18/20, probably shrunk sometime or other.  Last time I tried it on, I couldn't even button it.  Today I got it buttoned, but it's still too tight for my taste.  But I got it on & buttoned!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Woooooo-effin-hooooooo!!!!!

silvermuse -> RE: The CollarMe "Biggest Loser" Gang WANTS YOU!!1! (2/25/2010 12:36:13 PM)

I've been eating smaller meals, but more of them, to boost the metabolism. Drinking more water, and walking a little more. We've just moved to a large house, and I'm up and down the stairs a dozen times a day. Once the weather eases up a little more, I'll be walking every day as well, so that will speed things up.

Master has also dropped 20lbs, and one of the UM's has dropped 11 lbs.

Keep up the GREAT work, Silvermuse!

VirginPotty -> RE: The CollarMe "Biggest Loser" Gang WANTS YOU!!1! (2/26/2010 6:32:57 AM)

Well I did 4 loads of laundry last night up & down 4 flights of stairs & I vacuumed. That was my workout. I'll be back at the gym tonight.

For dinner last night I had 1 boca burger........lol when I took it out of the microwave after letting it set for about 30 minutes after it was done it "CLUNKED" onto the plate. I immediately thought of Clumsy........[:D]  I put it bet. 2 slices of multi-grain wheat bread w/ketchup & relish along w/a side salad w/fat free dressing.
Yogurt for desert.

For breakfast I had coffee (powder cream/no sugar) & small bowl of Special K w/dried red berries & skim milk.

For lunch today I brought a protein bar, 1 small red apple & 1 yogurt. (all yogurts I mention are fat free). I'll wash that yummy meal down w/Crystal Lite & 2 fish oil capsules.......Yayyyyyy[8|] (oooops wrong thread)

I haven't weighed myself for over 1 week on purpose but I will on Sunday.........dammit.[>:]

Breakfast -- 2 eggs, 4 strips of bacon, water

Lunch - 6 oz brisket, 2 cups raw spinach, a couple of tablespoons of sunflower seeds, 1/2 a steamed beet, a couple of ounces of honey-vinegar gherkins (3... maybe 4... I don't remember exactly), balsamic vinegar, avocado oil.

Don't know what dinner will be. I'll figure it out after I've foraged around a bit. *grins*

Workout... 40 minutes of CTS (circular strength training) sans clubbells, plus several flights of stairs (carrying shipments up... which qualifies both as "climb hills" and "lift heavy things" in the 'natural movement' criteria).

This morning, I stood up and my pajama pants fell off. I guess I need to take the elastic in on the waist.

We did two workouts yesterday...the regular one at Curves and moving the furniture around in Mom's bedroom.  2 gun cabinets, a tallboy dresser and a cedar chest from my bedroom to put in Mom's room.  Mom is moving stiffy today...and I got a pain in my back...

silvermuse -> RE: The CollarMe "Biggest Loser" Gang WANTS YOU!!1! (2/26/2010 3:40:31 PM)

Right now exercise consists of shifting things around the new house. We moved from a small three bedroom, into a 3500 sq ft, 8 bed house. Office is on the groundfloor/sort of basement, whilst we're living upstairs. So, there's a lot of hauling up and down the stairs, taking things out to the dumpster, in between binding books, hefting paper for the printers and all that 'fun' stuff.
Once the weather is better I'll be able to walk down to the library. Right now Master doesn't want me trying until we've gone from sheet ice to safer footing.

We walked home from Shabbos dinner tonight.  It's close to a mile up & down hills.  It's been several weeks since I've walked anywhere without Granny & I could really feel it.  Especially in my hips.

When it was time to leave, I zipped my coat right up & there was room between me & it.  The last time I had it on it was a bit of a struggle.  I knew when I bought it that it was slightly small.  And now it's slightly big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

impishlilhellcat -> RE: The CollarMe "Biggest Loser" Gang WANTS YOU!!1! (2/26/2010 9:29:26 PM)

I guess I've been doing extremely well although it's still hard for me to process. I'm not as diligent as you all with keeping track of everything I eat. I just know as long as I stay close to a certain calorie range I'm good. Breakfast for me is usually oatmeal (the extra fiber kind) or scrambled eggs, some fruit, and whole wheat (bagel, toast, english muffin). Or an omlet with spinach, ham, and feta cheese. I'm a grazer I'll graze throughout the rest of the day, fiber bars, cottage cheese, water all day, fruit, cheese, nuts that aren't peanuts, yogurt, and some kind of lean meat chicken etc.. sometimes I have leftovers sometimes not. I'm still very much a mood eater. Dinner because it's usually right after my workouts which are pretty high intensity I have a carb, a vegetable, and a meat. I have a really hard time finding snacks for me that aren't processed on, with, or around peanuts... so if you all have suggestions I'm totally open for that. I usually do a protein drink or a glass of milk before bed... only because I get really hungry late at night at that's a good way to curb those cravings and the trainer said that it would help keep my metabolism going.

Anyways... I really wrote this to say that I've been dropping weight like crazy lately. In the past it's been mostly muscle building. I have incredible muscle I know I keep saying that, but both myself and my trainer are amazed at how fast and how much muscle my body has put on. My personal trainer who owns her own gym wants me to get certified as a personal trainer and especially in cardio kickboxing so I can come teach and train in her new upgraded gym.. well coming in June anyways. I'm seriously thinking about doing that and taking some nutrition classes so I can be the gym's nutritionist.

ShaharThorne -> RE: The CollarMe "Biggest Loser" Gang WANTS YOU!!1! (2/27/2010 12:26:02 AM)

Yesterday we cleaned out mom's closet.  Today we hit my room.  Nothing like a 'spring' cleaning to get a workout in...

LinnaeaBorealis -> RE: The CollarMe "Biggest Loser" Gang WANTS YOU!!1! (2/27/2010 5:44:17 AM)

Impy, I know how you feel when you say that you are amazed.  I'm feeling the same way.  Probably because I have tried so many different methods for so long with very little success.  I'm finally feeling like I am losing now that I've lost the first 40 lbs.  Every time I put some article of clothing on, I'm noticing the difference.  It's like it took this long for my mind to accept the weight loss.  Some people say that even when they lose weight, they still have the fat body image.  I had had such difficulty realizing that I was fat for so long.  In my head I still weighed 150 lbs, not the nearly 300 that the scale said I weighed.  I'm not losing it really fast, but I am losing it steadily.
