THREE freakin' refrigerators????????? DAMN!!! Now THAT takes some shopping!

There are 8 of us tonight for dinner & 13 tomorrow for lunch.  Can't prepare anything after sundown tonight so we needed all 3 refrigerators.  She usually doesn't use the one downstairs, but I insisted because the one upstairs gets so full & disorganized.  Unfortunately, after I went to bed last night she put lots more in the kitchen one & it's a mess again.  *sigh*

ETA:  More stairs with burdens already today.  Like LOTSA stairs!!  I told her friend that the way I lost 40 lbs was going to work for Joan!!  *giggle*

I never did eat this AM other than the banana. The headache & nausea went away so I waited until lunch.  I know during weight training it's better if you eat 5-6 small meals a day as opposed to 3 large ones but I'm improvising....I'm eating 3 small meals a day

Lunch was 1 small granny smith apple, 1 NutriGrain bar & some Crystal Lite to wash it all down with......yummy!

My trainer said increase cardio, lessen the weights and cut 500 calories a week out of your diet.

That is if you have a set calories you are watching and it isn't insanely low

On the reverse effect you could possibly not be eating enough calories.

Lol, you were reading my mind about the caloric intake! Mine is "insanely low" & the calories I burn doing cardio definitely makes a dent in what I take in during the course of the day. My main meal is after my workout. I hate eating after 7pm but one trainer told me it's not when you eat it's what you eat so don't limit yourself to not eating after 6pm but for some people like you Imp, that works. For me not so much. I have brown rice not bleached white rice. I've started decreasing the portions of rice added to the water & increasing my  veggies that I mix w/the rice.  Except for the protein shake I drink when I get home I don't have anything else to drink except water but that's only when I take my vitamins. I haven't had a taste for liquid w/my dinner, not even Crystal Lite. I used to drink that stuff by the gallon but now only at lunchtime.

I doubt I consume 1000 calories a day & I burn bet. 550-600 during cardio so yes, my intake is insanely low.
Though on Wed. I started having coffee at 3:30pm along w/a protein bar before going to workout & that's helped alot. Because I have the bar before the workout, I don't eat one w/the shake when I get home. I've just been eating 1t peanut butter......gloriously licking it & enjoying every morsel........

Yeah I'm supposed to be eating 2000 cals a day (to maintain. I burn about 500-600 cals a workout) when I workout a little more but I cut quite a few a week to help the weight loss. I don't usually eat that much, but I'm inconsistent when I eat and instead of eating small meals I'd eat breakfast, graze, then a big dinner, and then something small like a glass of chocolate milk. So today every 2-3 hours I'm having small 300-400 cal meals or snacks. This is killing me. 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese, 2 slices of thin ham, two slices of bread, 2 teaspoons of mayo, some sprouts, and a clementine is frickin 492 calories! WTF!!! I'm actually looking forward to eating again in two hours. Even though I'm not yet sure what that will be.

I was just told that my job is going to ATTEMPT to put together a kickball team......guess who's going to sign up! Since our gym is a bit small there's not a whole lot of variety w/the equipment so I was wondering how to break thru the plateu when it hits.....now I know!

Thank you for that link.  I've been wanting that book for awhile now.  It always amazes me what people think is healthy.  Whenever I get a salad in a restaurant, I only get grilled chicken on it, dressing on the side, & hold the cheese.  I drizzle maybe a teaspoon of the dressing on it, just enough to get the flavor.  I've also used the 1 calorie per spray dressings, which does pretty much the same thing.

I put on what I thought were my skin-tight stretch pants this afternoon & they're really roomy now.  I told Joan that I'm going to have to stop losing weight because I can't afford new clothes.  Within the next couple of weeks I'm tossing these pants & another 2 pair that are way too big for me.  I'm doing this so that I won't think that I can gain back the weight & fit into them again.  When I have lost weight in the past, I kept all my too-large clothes & even wore lots of them.  What a surprise that I gained the weight back, huh?  Kinda like a goldfish, I will grow to the size of my environment.

I like it lots better than the white stuff.  It has more flavor & body, I think.  I also think it takes a little getting used to.

the whole wheat pasta is not great taste-wise.I just learn to make small intake of any pasta (loves mac and cheese).  I just had the 550 calorie Asiago peppercorn steak with streamed vegetables (I avoid the carrots) and it was decent at Applebees.  The peppercorns made too much heat (expects heartburn tonight) and I had to scrape it off.

What I need is the nutrional value of the dessert item of the chocolate mousse shotglasses.  Just had to give in...*reminds herself to buy a new tub of chocolate icing tomorrow*

So what are you thinking about having with your whole wheat pasta? A rich and zesty arrabbiata sauce?...Perhaps some toasted bakery bread slathered in butter and garlic? I know how you love your mussels simmered in a white wine butter sauce.

So what is for desert you insensitive whore?

I hated it tasted like cardboard to me... The spaghetti was okay, but I couldn't make homemade mac and cheese from it.
