I've been challenged lately, since Granny's in the hospital & I have way too much time on my hands.  Then she brought home a bunch of crap after Purim & I've given into the temptation.  This weekend there will be guests in the house for the weekend & some of them will sleep in my room.  I have the choice of staying in Granny's room or going to my sister's.  Since my sister broke her foot, the main exercise that I get there is the 4 flights of stairs.  If I stay here, there will be cooking & cleaning & eating mainly.  While I haven't gained any weight this week, I certainly haven't lost any either.  Like I reached my mini goal last week & took a break or sumpin.  Sheesh!!!

Ok, putting on my shoes and venturing out.  The snow has mostly melted, the sun is shining.  I think I'll walk to the park, walk around the park, and come home.

If I'm not back in a couple hours, send out the reserves.  I got lost!

I need a treadmill.  Its still too damn cold out! BRRRRR.

Not sure if this is good or not, but I had 4 eggs for breakfast, no lunch, and baked salmon for dinner.

Walked 2 blocks before I wimped out and decided to come home and warm up.

The great thing about fish, is how quick and easy it cooks up!  No fuss. I mean, sure, i'd love some fried fish, but it really tastes just as good baked or poached with the right seasonings.  I think I'll go shopping tomorrow and stock up on thngs to encourage my new adventure.  Any suggestions for my grocery list?

Last week I made tilapia filets with mango salsa on top in the toaster oven.  I'm not allowed to turn on the real oven since I'm not Jewish.

Re: the room, she told me in the beginning that this might happen & I agreed to it.  Now Granny's coming home from the hospital tomorrow afternoon so I sleep on the couch in her room.  It's only for 2 nights.  I think I'll be ok.  LOL

If you say so Lin!

I did my 2-hr workout & feel great
I had 1t of peanut butter & Whey shake when I
got home. Dinner was a bowl of brown rice w/zucchini
& onion in balsamic vinegar.

Gawd I love hot showers after a grueling
workout!

I ordered groceries from Peapod due tomorrow & I'm
getting extra fruit & veggies. I'm even going to try mangos!
I have enogh rice to last the next 20 yrs so trying to mix it
up. Salmon is actually very good to eat after a workout.

Impy, click on "PM" on the bottom left of her post.

Tonight, I worked for 8 hours in the kitchen getting food prepared for Shabbos.  I was up & down stairs also due to the fact that we didn't have enough room in the kitchen refrigerator & we used up all the space in the garage refrigerator, so some had to go into the basement refrigerator.  Then I had to move all the cat paraphernalia up to the 2nd floor, inflate the air mattress in my room & make 3 beds.  I think I got a pretty good workout today.  Dinner was a little of this & a little of that as we cooked.  I'm hungry & tired now.

Thanks Lin!

I did two workouts last night about 2 hours total. I'm exhausted still. I'm getting ready to head back to the gym this morning after some water and a banana. I now like Potty has been doing have to start accounting for everything that goes into my mouth. I actually have to start counting calories at least for the next two or three months. This is going to be hard. I hate doing this. I hate looking at the calories. I love food pishh. I'm having a moment. I might be eating a lot of eggs these days. We shall see I have three calorie ranges that I have to stick too.

Slut Once you document that it can be held against you in a court of law!

Btw, Imp, no email from you

This AM I had my usual coffee but only a banana this time. Wasn't hungry at all but now my head hurts & I'm nauseous so I guess I better eat sumpin!

**Eta, had to delete a comment I made when I thought Imp wrote that she'd be eating RAW eggs***

Ok, I need some assistance.

Started at 310, down to 240, been at 240 for over 4 months now, Joined a fitness club and upped my workouts to 2 hours a day, including 50 reps on 10 different machine, and 5+ miles on the treadmill.

How can I break the plateau I am stuck at, or are the last 40 pounds going to take forever?

My trainer said increase cardio, lessen the weights and cut 500 calories a week out of your diet.

That is if you have a set calories you are watching and it isn't insanely low

On the reverse effect you could possibly not be eating enough calories.
