Yes, to all counts.
I'm smart, despite my typos, I was head in my class even for awhile in college.
I like having someone smarter than me that can tell me I am wrong, and mean it.

I get what you mean though, when the fun is over and the more casual moments happen, they should be able to back down if they are wrong... But during the play, wouldn't that be the point? For them to never be wrong?

I think intelligence is of utmost importance. I want a wise dominant.

Intelligence is the single most important distinction between Humans and the rest of the animal world.

I would not put my trust in an inferior species to save my life nor would I allow an inferior person to make wise decisions for me.

This is a pretty interesting topic. It reminds me of something I saw on television the other day, on commentary program. The hosts were having a discussion regarding a man who intentionally married a woman who was smarter than him, and how abnormal that was. The idea was kind of interesting, actually... The guy knew his limitations, I guess, and wanted somebody to make up for them?

Honestly, I can see how a submissive might want to have their dominant be more intelligent turning into another way to feel a step below. However, I think it's more about both sub and dom being smarter in general, for me. I think I'm a pretty smart guy. It's more fun to play with something... someone, that is more complex, emotionally. I wouldn't feel challenged with somebody who I felt I could significantly "outsmart," if you can understand that.

It is imperative that a Dom be superior in intelligence to me. Who wants to put Beavis & Butthead in charge of their safety and wellbeing? Not trying to be negative but this issue has been a major shortcoming for many self proclaimed "Masters".
