I have notice so many young ladies who have activate profiles say they are collared or owned. If you are collared or owned why not deactivate your profile so you do not get bothered by Master looking for slaves or subs or at least say it in your profile. It seems so many get upset or nasty when they get contacted when they are not looking then here a little hint for you deactivate your profile and you will still be able to access collarme. This will cut down people contacting you since they are looking and you are not. I have talked with enough people are collarme at local munches and they all have the same problem.

Why should we have to de-activate our profiles........maybe these so called Dom's might want to learn to read........Most subs/slaves that are collared do clearly have stated in their profiles that they want NO CONTACT from other Dom/me's.......Problem is most (not all but most) Dom/me's never fully read a profile to begin with....

So instead of complaining, try reading

Why do so many "Masters" (I use the term only because they call themselves that) have to hunt so hard for slaves?  Doesn't it seem reasonable to believe that a slave should search for a Master?

If it were simply master/slave, that might be true.  Unfortunately, people want a matching on something more than that cartoonish level.  For a relationship to work, there has to be a complement of needs and desires that takes a lot of work to accomplish.

Without a foundation based upon friendship what good is any relationship? Yes, I can understand that it may seem arduous to weed through profile after profile, but then, if someone is not willing to take the time to read what I wrote and see what it is that I am seeking, can that person be relied upon to take the time to know me as a person in real time? I have read many a profile only to find that person and I would not be a good match. I appreciate their candour and honesty. Honour and repect are two very key words not only to me, but also to many others on this site. This all begins with reading the profile and responding in an honourable and repectful way.

Patience is also very important. Many are willing to read through reports and manuals on cars, computers, TVs, etc. before purchasing one. They do not want to get something they will be sorry for later. Why is this not equally important when choosing a Mistress/Master/sub/slave/lifepartner/playpartner?

Hmm. Perhaps Collarme is an acronym for:
Can
others
learn
love
acceptance
respect
mentoring
and empathy

Good luck to all,
Dg

i'm neither collared nor owned, nor am i seeking to be.   doesnt mean that i cant enjoy the company of like minded folk, who i feel deserve to know a tad about me if they wish to chat.

having a profile or not has nothing to do with your d/s status.

I am not a slave...  I'm a switch.  Mostly a bratty subbie but I'm pretty good with my crop and flogger when the opportunity presents itself.  I don't claim to be owned since I'm not a slave and I have not checked anything in my profile that I'm seeking.  I have checked the switch box but I still get messages from "Masters" seeking slaves...  I know Masters can be somewhat demanding, but I didn't think so many of them were so lazy.

Conversely, if part of the percieved problem which the OP is worried about, id the large volume of ctive profiles, perhaps all Dominants should deactivate their profiles if they too aren't seeking......As has been commented so many times, a large numbet of people here are not seeking either a sub/slave or Dominant but FRIENDS! I agree that if you are not seeking, it is reasoneble to state that on your profile. I recently removed my requirements for a kajira or even a play partner from my profile and stated li large red letters that I was no actively seeking... If some are unable to browse a complete profile or are unable to understand it, then they needs find some one to search the profiles for them....
