ORIGINAL: alicenwondrland How could it be physically feasible to get to the point of significant interaction with everyone who writes you? That would be impossible. You have to whittle down your emails. In the first place, once you are off the New Users list, the number of emails you get per day will significantly decrease. It will decrease more if you remove your photo, or if you leave your weight blank, or both. I had a personal rule never to write a woman during her first 30 days on the site, because I did not want to be lost in the crowd. I wanted to ensure she read my email seriously, and had an opportunity to respond. In the second place, I haven't looked at your profile, and I don't know if you're sub, switch or domme. However, I could still send you an email you would probably respond to. For example: "I like your nick. Lewis Carroll, who wrote Alice in Wonderland, was a logician and mathematician by trade, and I've always felt a bit connected to him. I've had poetry published, and I'm currently, in my job, trying to use logic to prove things about how to design error-resistant microscopic computers. Why did you choose your username, if I may ask? Best, myrealname." Whether that would inspire a response (or a block/delete) from you, I hope you see my point. Interaction -- generating interest, so the lady says, "Hmmm, he sounds like an intriguing guy to get to know" -- is more important than anything I could write in a profile update.
