Ok, I know this request will be ignored, but I'm going to ask anyway, because if you don't ask you won't get.

Will you ALL PLEASE STOP ~SMILING~? Y'all are CREEPING ME OUT.

I know it's fun and everything, but you make me want to go and hide behind the sofa, and I HAVE NO SOFA.

So please, kind people: either buy me a sofa to crawl behind, or leave out the ~smiles~...

:-S

Never say I haven't given you anything

D'aaaw-you're the best, Julia :-D

But in this circumstance I'm not sure if a cyber-sofa will really cut the mustard...

I met someone in the fall of 2007, fell very much in love only to discover there were things about her that made a relationship impossible. Since the spring of 2008 I've been alone ... just me, the cats and the pups.

Thaks for clarifying.  I'm glad I remembered correctly, and was just missing out on that information about there being someone in your life since you first came on the boards in 2007.

She is on her fourth boyfriend since me, and is due to dump him before the summer.

She is very predictable that way. Two boyfriends a year: one for summer, one for winter.

I was the winter boyfriend the year she picked me.

Very sad.

Where you the winter pick cause she didnt want to see you in summer clothes ?  And feared you would pull out a speedo ?

forget the livingroom.

where is your true love from last time? when the heat becomes too hot in here again, will you mysteriously have a new one...again? I asked ages ago, how many true loves will and do you expect in one lifetime? You have had a few, more than some, or even most, no? Some of us are just fine with living out the rest of our lives single, free, happy in the health and life we have. You, on the other hand go through withdrawls when you are alone. Fear? maybe, of being alone? I'm not, doing just fine here, with or without a man. (except when somethin' breaks then I panic) but big deal, I leave it broken. lol.

Grow up. No one on this planet is entitled to love 3, 4, 6 x in a lifetime. Plan for your retirement by taking care of YOUSELF.

ok, she is predictable. NOW you find that out? Learn about someone as much as you can BEFORE you screw them BOB.

You picked a slut. big deal. If she was so bad and unscrupulous why take her on to begin with? she picked you? lolol laughable. What kind of man (who claims to be all dat and dominant) allows a woman to do the 'pickin'?)

You aren't so stable in your decision making skills as I have repeated.

Get therapy as to why you have this dire need/craving for love so badly that you are like a lost puppy without it.

what is sad is that you are a sucker bob. You are easy to get into bed and a sucker. live with it.

i'm pretty sure i'm blocked by the op, but i gotta tap into my inner emotional masochist (and idiot) here and try again.

bob. sug.

are there bdsm clubs and such that you can go to in your area? i know that's not the best place to meet people, but having local friends with your interests would be good. how many people here met great partners through friends? *raises hand*

have you tried a matchmaking service? who knows, it could work. and these people would be looking specifically for people you want.

i'm not on the up-and-up on sites like match.com et such, but could you post a profile there with what you want as a whole? mentally, physically, and sexually. you're a grown man, and there's nothing to be ashamed of, if you're scared of getting called a freak or whatever on a normal dating site.

lastly, there's a lot to be said about single's parties. it's all about networking, and of course you're not gonna meet that perfect girl through these means, but it's a step in the right direction. there's so much opportunity for people on the interwebs to be these wannabes you're talking about, and there's that opportunity for that in rl, too, but again: step in the right direction.

i'm speaking from experience. you can gain a lot from friendships and networking. hell, i was in love with somebody who started out as a friend. he's not with us anymore, but he was a best friend, a partner, a soulmate, and a lover. so uh... yeah. that was my sap of the day.

... i feel like i need an insulin shot. and if bob's got me blocked like i think he does, will somebody please relay it for me?

christ on a stick, this is his third name. lol

quote:

First, people who know me far better than you would dispute that my persona has changed.

Second, I deleted my account as yet another act of love for the lady in question: a committment to her.

When it became obvious things had fallen apart, and I returned, I considered rekindling the old account.

But as I am moving this year, and have yet to decide where, "bobkgin" became problematic (it being a recognizable homophone for the town closest to me).

Thus the new account which is more representative of who I am rather than where I live.

Bob, howww on earth do you expect any sane person to take you seriously?

If anyone else was on their 3rd name, they would be outted as a liar, deciever, etc etc. There is a reason for people doing that, it is troll-based or whatever. Not sure what it is, but it is frowned on, in most places. It is cowardice. (unless it is a couples created nik or whathaveyou).

Seems to me, you just might have something to hide. Perhaps a long string of one nighters for all we know?? Not that we even care lol. But hey, if you want to come off as the CM pastorial service ...at least be honest and consistent. True love my a$$. I would be suspicious of you, (NOT that I am interested), truly, you are scary. sneaky and scary.
