Mike, that's true for New England too, you can buy three condos here for the price of one in New England and the Carolinas have some of the best weather in the country and very low real estate taxes. And yes, prices are starting to go back up as well here too. Anyone who's interested should get in soon. As for Calif. the taxes are sky high there.

I have ten acres and my property taxes are just under a hundred dollars a year. Sales tax in Los Angeles is a little over 9% and as much as a percent less in some counties.
