Aileen, I explained in an earlier post that I was in a long term live in relationship with a guy who did scene work but was not into anything within our four walls. The reason I had no hope of anything BDSMy at home is because of the sort of relationship I was in. Domiguy, Im not sure what you mean by the community? are you talking the real life stuff or the online stuff or both? I know plenty of people that are full on into this all the time but I also know plenty of people that come out and have a bit of fun once a month but are far too busy doing other things to spend more time on it than that. This is a bit like sticking a label on a parcel and not knowing whats inside. Its all guess work. The only thing that defines a community is a group of people finding themselves in the same place, at same time with a common (but broad) interest. The on liners that use CM boards or any other BDSM site boards are a tiny portion of the whole online scene, in fact this is such a small number of people that it can't be considered representative of anything and therefore all we can do is discuss differing opinions. My opinion differs from yours.
