What do you think I am talking about... but the civil penalties...damn give it up...you were wrong big deal...I am quoting the statute. You keep posting nonsense sites that like you don't know what you are talking about... read the statute... this is what counts nothing else.

I'm not going to let you get away with straw man arguments.

There is no FIRST offense fine of $10,000 you exaggerated, made it up or were lying to make a point.
There is no 5 years in the slammer for each illegal alien...you were making an argument on false information all the time using silly derogatory infantile comments.

Show me in the actual statute where it confirms your statement…if not you are full of shit.

Butch

I once worked cleaning new construction homes. one of those jobs americans won't do, manual labor... (I was indeed being a smart ass as VP 'biteme' biden would say, for I and the crew I worked with are American) and the carpenters and painters were all hispanic.

I knew several American carpenters and painters who were scrambeling for work but could not find positions in the new housing market.....

so much for the argument its jobs Americans won't do.......

I also know that several of the mexicans were illigal (inded, I reported them..anomously) amazing how word went around the job site and several workers dissapered when the immigraion guys showed up. you don't think....it couldn't be possible.....nawwww,they couldn't have been forwarned....

Your point is not clear. You say that you are an american and all of the carpenters and painters were hispanic. What you do not mention is how many were u.s. citizens.

I talked to many of these guys and many, both those who had temp work permits and illigals admitted they were here to work to send money home.....and soon as they had enough they were going home. they shared housing to keep expenses down.

Is it your point that the money they spent while"keeping expenses down" were not spent in the u.s.?

I am not aginst any immigrant, this is a great country, welcome to your new home. illigal alians are not legal immigrants, they should not be here!

Where have I posted that they should be here?

That's what I believe and I'm sticking to it!

So far you have been quite unclear as to what you believe

Also I am not aginst those who apply to work here temporally or migrant farm workers

migrant farm workers have been making the rounds for ages, they are legally allowed to come in temporally.

You really need to educate yourself about the difference between migrant worker (who is a u.s. citizen who travels with the harvest for work) and an illegal alien.

As I pointed out there are both criminal and civil laws being broken here. What part of that don't you get?

You keep posting nonsense sites that like you don't know what you are talking about... read the statute... this is what counts nothing else.

Is it your position that 18 usc section 371 is not law in the u.s.?

I'm not going to let you get away with straw man arguments.

What strawman are you talking about I point out that you have both feet in your mouth at the same time.

Pointing out what words mean is a strawman....Perhaps you might want to invest in a dictionary.

This is incorrect.

In 1931, Leakey organised an expedition to the Gorge with Reck, and found stone tools within a few hours of arriving at the gorge.
In further excarvations, Leakey and his wife Mary found and described many stone tools and fossil animals, but found no significant hominid ("human-like") fossils until 1959, when Mary Leakey discovered the first skull of "Zinjanthropus".

Now renamed Australopithecus boisei, this creature had a massive skull with huge teeth that suggested a diet of coarse vegetable food, and lived 1.75 million years ago. In 1976 Mary Leakey discovered a fossil hominid and animal tracks at Laetoli, a site twice as ancient as anything at Olduvai.

Do you just open your mouth to change feet.
Laetoli is in close proximity to the olduvai gorge.

Even the article i cited indicated the difference between the two. Close... but no cigar.

Hey...you do the two step pretty good...keep dancing and let me know when you can answer a simple question.

Is this.... your words.....

The penality for the first offense of hiring an illegal alien is a felony with a $10,000 fine and/or 5 years in the federal slammer for each illegal alien.

statement correct?

If so show me..in the actual statute

This is not what I believe, this is what I know.

We tried for months to hire framers and sheet rock workers.  It was hard enough to get someone who wanted the job but when you finally did they generally lasted about a week.  The complaints they had ranged from, "You people work to many hours" (we were only working 48 hrs, 10 hours Mon-Thurs and 8 hours OT on Fri), you work to hard, and you want to much work done.

We finally gave up.  We had a couple of big jobs where we needed the help we couldn't get so the boss contracted with a Mexican guy who had a crew.  His workers showed up on time and not only did the work but did quality work.  They were equal to our main workers but much superior to any of the other workers we had come in.

It was nice for that time to have people who wanted to work rather than people who were trying to spend half the day looking for a way not to work.

What a wonderful disclosure of breaking the law and rationalizing it is okay.

I'm sure avoiding hypocrisy you support corporate farms, and other exploitive industries, doing the same thing. How very Republican of you!

The problem with projecting this into a rationalization for amnesty for illegal workers is that once protected by citizenship and all the rights which come with it, your "Mexican guy" would have to find a new supply of people to exploit, and the cycle continues.

People like you are the reason it does.

Not going to work...this statute has nothing to do with immigration.

"Sec. 371. Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States"

You can't do it can you.... try the soft shoe maybe you will be better... Now again show me the statute.

I'm going to keep holding your feet to the fire until you admit you are wrong or you prove me wrong...or CM sends me the cease and desist...because you need a dose of your own medicine.

It is a simple request... show me the actual statute on immigration that shows a $10,000 fine the first offense and or 5 years in the slammer...and I will apologize.

Not good enough...just show me in any of the links you provided where there is a $10,000 fine first offense and 5 years in the slammers for immigration violations and penalties.

It is simple just do it...or have someone else who read your links post it...

Its ok to be wrong now and then...but not ok to call people names then be wrong or lying yourself...stand up and be a man...if you can.
