Working under the table is tax evasion.

Any illegal here who is working, with rare exceptions, is committing a crime in one of the two above areas.

I am told by liberals that:

A. Illegal aliens are working jobs that Americans won't do (because of the wages) and
2. Poverty causes crime

I believe if we did eject them all, more people would cut their own grass and lettuce would probably be 8.00 a head.

I am ok with that.

Do you believe most crime is committed by wealthy or even middle class people?

I believe illegal aliens commit a lot of crimes.
I believe strawberries and asparagus would be more affected than lettuce.

Status: offline 		If you are looking for me to do your work, look elsewhere. I have repeatedly stated that illegals operate under stolen SS numbers, which is identity theft according to the law, specifically - Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act .

Simple... you cannot work without a SS number. TINs are merely for reporting income, not valid for ID purposes for work.

Nothing? you have a way of bringing up unrelated issues and throwing them in people's faces.
This is the main reason, I ususally don't even bothering to respond to whatever it is you are talking about.

My OP has to do with Virginia cracking down on illegal immigrants, and has nothing to do with my thoughts on the economy, popeye, Howie Carr, the man in the moon, or the voices in your head.

An illegal immigrant driving drunk just killed a nun, a few days ago.

Big news here, front and center.

Status: offline 		The fact that this man is an illegal is, frankly, not a vital part of that story. Its like saying he was a Democrat or a Republican. This speaks more to the drunk driving laws in this country, and our ~ sometimes~ ineffective legal system.

You are the one who posted this it is your responsibility to validate it by showing us when you started posting it.

I did not suggest that it gave an illegal a right to work, only that it would allow them to pay taxes which you claim that they can only do if they steal someones identity.



Working under the table is still tax evasion.

But, lets say someone IS working under the table, and filing a tax return with the IRS. Other taxes are still not being paid, such as FICA.

What would prevent them from paying fica with a tin?

Its still tax evasion.
It is only tax evasion if they do not pay their taxes
