OK, if there's actual sex or nudity involved ... Then yes, I'd have to say it was prostitution ...
But any serious professional domina (and I'm not talking about the ones who just like to say they're pros ... I mean the real deal, ladies and gentlemen) will not have sex with her clients. Its unprofessional ... No sex, no relationships.
"Tributed sessions" and the like do not make you a professional domina or even a semi pro as some of you seem to like being called. I'm not sure what it makes you ... Cheap comes to mind. But to each their own ... Obviously there's a market out there willing to pay you, cheap or not.
Slimsub, I understand where you're coming from but please understand that the great majority of professional dominas are way more classy than some of the women you've met here on this forum. They take their profession seriously and follow a certain code of conduct with every client. Most importantly, they are NOT prostitutes ... No more than an exotic dancer is a prostitute.
I do get irked when I see certain individuals try to claim to be something they're not just to make themselves look important. It sickens me even more when I see someone talk about submissives paying for sex and calling that professional domination. Thats utter bullshit. Call it what it is and be proud of it. If you can't be proud of it then maybe you shouldn't be doing it.
With that said, there is a kink known as financial domination. There are some men (and women) who enjoy being used for their money. Ah darq did you blow it on this one. I like and have agreed with several of your posts in the past. But this time I must disagree.
Based on personal experience with a couple of pro dommes who have a very sizable dungeon and a large amount of toys. As well as having been in bussiness for a long time. I can truethfully contridict you and say that some professional dommes will offer an extended menu to select long time customers who do tribute them including tipping.
I've posted in other threads that I have worked as bartender in a strip club for two years. While not all exotic dancers prostitute or date a customer, or engage in unlawfull contact during a lap dance. But some most definately do. On numerous occasions my boss, at the time, got a phone call from a person who got herself busted, asking to be bailed out. The ladies do get fined for breaking the house rules. I do agree that there is a lot of bullshit here. The Al Bundy type, do me slaves. Let's not forget the otherside of the coin. I'm not so naive as to think that strippers don't sometimes offer sex ... But once they do offer sex, that makes them prostitutes. The same goes for pro dominas that offer sex. I'm sorry ... Money for sex is prostitution. If you can't handle that, then don't do it. But please don't do it and then try to call it something else. Once you cross that line ... Its crossed.
