for some reason i cant stop trying to argue the toss with the title of this thread - it bugs me - ive deleted about five posts and i shall probably delete this one, or not and probably wish i had too late.

worst?? - why worst - in the end its a choice we make to find the right person for ourselves or not, settle or stay single. if i was prepared to settle id be with someone now, but i dont chose to settle. that doesnt make it 'worst' for me, im ok as i am and ploughing through cmails and fetmail and all other sorts of mail along with being active in my local BDSM community is just part of taking part or chosing to fade out and away, curl up with the cat and my vibrator and put my dreams away. im not going to do that. im not prepared to give up on him, whoever he is. that isnt having it 'worst' its just making a choice.

Honestly, I think that anyone with standards had better grease up their lips and pucker up, because they've set themselves up for what could be years of frog kissing. And they may never find what they seek, but at least there is a certain integrity in staying true to yourself and what you want, even if that thing only exists in very remote countries and in the imaginations of already married men and illegal young boys on the internet.

And as for being whiny and negative, I think that although you probably won't benefit from wearing your negativity as a badge of honor, there is something to be said for being authentic. If we can't bitch to eachother and find support, we're kinda screwed.
