Sorry pahunkboy.  You're going to have to find another batch of heroin to hang your denial trip on.

The investigations concluded that there was no evidence of scientific malpractice and Jones was cleared of any scientific misconduct.[11] They reported that while sharing of data and methods was in line with common scientific practice, it was desirable that there should be greater openness and information sharing.[12] The Select Committee report concluded that "the scientific reputation of Jones and the CRU was untarnished"

It was hard to read through the rest of your post after the second sentence left me trying to figure out what an anti-scientist was.

I hear that when an anti-scientist is in the same room as a scientist there is the danger of a cataclysmic event as they annihilate one another.

There have been three separate independent investigations going through all the East Anglia emails that were illegally hacked, and none of them found anything substantive against the science.  The only thing one of them criticized the researchers for said that they could have been more open about sharing their data with the climate denialists - who have a history of mangling and misrepresenting it, so I sympathize with the researchers on that one.

You would know all this if you genuinely wanted the truth, rather than some lame excuse to hide behind.

Nothing about blocking "right to know" inquiries?
Suzanne, are you a "U.F.O. person" too?

No one is stopping YOU from cutting back your usage.

No one is stopping you from getting out there and cleaning up the town.

No one is stopping you from donating money to clean up organizations.

Yet- YOUR hand is in MY pocket- so as that I am forced to pay higher prices!

This has nothing to do with your money, punkboy.  In fact, judging from your apparent level of education, I'm guessing you're in the tax bracket that would get subsidized to offset any utility cost increases.  (Rush didn't tell you about those, did he?)

Nobody wants your pathetic money, pahunkboy.  They want you to grow up and act like a PaHunkMan so that the next generation doesn't spend all its time fighting forest fires.

Then why did my electric bill rates increase 41% over the past year?

How the hell would I know, I don't even know who your utility is or what's going on in your area.  But do you seriously think some piece of legislation that was NEVER ENACTED by Congress has raised your rates?  Are you that brain-damaged?

You people are just off the deep end.  You complain that Obama's raised your taxes, and none of the tax laws have changed.  You're crying that all your freedoms have been taken away, but can't name any of them.  I seriously cannot tell the schizophrenics from the tea partiers these days without doing a spinal tap for neuroleptic metabolites.

The good news is the the GOP is in charge now- we can move on from the planned global carbon tax, and in the end- it is in Gods hands.

No, I would go with delusion.

But of course, delusions create conspiracies so maybe you are right.

Yes, Allah al Akbar, pahunkboy, Allah al Akbar.  God is Greatest.  Whatever you and your ayatollahs on the House Energy and Commerce Committee say.  Hopefully they will do away with our modern medicine system and put the tribal faith healers back in charge.  That science thing was a liberal arrogance and it's time to get back to God being in charge.

Sorry rulemylife. What I meant to say and should of re-read my post was, scientists who are anti blame for humans causing global warming.

http://www.c3headlines.com/2010/05/peerreviewed-research-unprecedented-global-warming-during-medieval-period-boreholes-reveal.html

There are thousands and thousands of papers on the web and I'm not going to spend my night looking for them all.
For those of you that believe we are the main culprits of global warming, you really don't want to hear from people like me but little sarcasms won't wash my opinion into those expanding oceans.
Debate makes the world go round and my opinion is my opinion.
I never said there was no global warming. I'm in no doubt that there is but I just think the suns the biggest culprit.
Now that doesn't mean I don't do my bit or at least others might think I'm doing my bit to save the earth. I don't own a car or a cow! I recycle and I use the suns energy and the wind for fuel, hot water and lighting and travel.... we travel by sail.
That's probably a lot more than most of the world population are doing to save mother earth but we just don't kid ourselves that, that's what we are doing.

I agree.  Shoddy science is now en force since 1981.    BTW-  not Allah.   (in case you wondered)

I am so finished with junk science.    The H1N1 is a good example of junk science.

Exactly.  Which is why cherry picking a couple of them, and then linking to conservative political/industry-funded web sites that further distort their findings and quote them out of context to create some pathetic illusion of controversy, does not put a dent in the fact that the overwhelming majority of climatologists have agreed for years now that we are driving this.

quote:

Debate makes the world go round and my opinion is my opinion.

Yes, but sadly the earth doesn't care about your opinion.  It will keep warming due to heat-trapping gases, regardless of what you feel the need to believe.

quote:

I never said there was no global warming. I'm in no doubt that there is but I just think the suns the biggest culprit.

That's really nice.  Solar forcing has been studied out the wazoo for years now by people with far better backgrounds than yours (presumably, since you won't cite any credentials).  It's simply not driving the warming trend. In fact, we are in a waning solar phase right now, even as we warm further.

Who in the right mind wants to pay a global carbon tax?

What a hare brained idea!

And Al Gore is a phony.
