I don't know who she wrote; it might have been nothing but unattractive 300 lbd. geriatrics who don't get tons of mail.
I don't know what she said; she gives an idea of it in her profile, but there's a HUGE difference between getting one tepid response back, and getting actual interest in a relationship.
...And there is no proof to back up these claims.

It might be good enough for her, but shame on her for posting about it without substance.

Exactly, I always reply to a nice message, even if I just let them know that it's not going to happen, but they will get a reply. A message where they didn't put in any effort or thought or "WAZ UP" I delete, just like the obvious cut and paste jobs.

Messages where somebody tells me how he's masturbating or that are obviously written while masturbating furiously - straight to delete...

Status: offline 		Fine. As a man, I say that trying the exact same approach gets maybe a 30-40% response rate, and almost never gets responses that lead towards flirtation and/or agreement to a meetup. By the third email, it disappears down a black hole.

Edit: a lot of that has to do with who you email, too. I restrict my searches to 27 or younger and -160 lbs. in a 25 mile radius.

I do plenty of correspondence with people I'm not attracted to; jokes that come to mind, compliments and critiques.Pretty much around 90% responses the first few times. But. That crap doesn't count for this; none of it goes anywhere.

You told me to do what she did, I bet if I would do that - and no I won't because it is unethical - and you wouldn't like my reply (and I guess I would get some responses, which would piss you off greatly and have you throwing an even bigger paddy) you would claim tht there is no proof...

Go back, you asked me how many RESPONSES I would get as a guy and that guys get no responses, you are changing your tune, I said all the time - and most women too (here and in the other thread) that they reply nicely to a nice email, nobody said anything about an email leading to a relationship and you are both going to ride into the sunset.

Tell you what, we get approached and as I said, guy today, perfectly nice and polite, we exchanged emails, we were on the phone, explained to him I am not looking for a partner, he was still a gent, we kept on talking, he asked if he could call me, gave him my mobile number, we had a laugh, I'm going with him to a fetish party as it is easier for a guy at events if he has somebody (especially a woman) along, single guys are usually the odd ones out.

No, not going to be a relationship or anything like that, but maybe a friendship, maybe even some play.

Guess what, that's what a NICE approach gets you, if your Cmails don't get you that, then well, you could write to the wrong people or you could say the wrong stuff, or maybe you do both?
